No, names of juvenile defendants are typically not released unless or until they are charged as an adult. That's just the way it is, so you might as well get used to it.
No reason not to charge a 17 y/o as an adult. They usually are.
Time to revise all of the juvenile law bullshit. Seems outdated. It was invented by white society largely to protect young defendants, likely also mostly white at the time, from a lifetime spent trying to overcome a one time mistake made when they were young.
But that is not the class of people you are dealing with today. Instead it is mostly low IQ hardened criminal non-whites. Repeat offenders who need to be charged as adults and put away in prison.
So current juvenile criminal practice is another form of denying basic human biological differences. The average criminal non-white juvenile is just not the same as the average white criminal juvenile. Not to mention the overwhelming number of criminal non-white juveniles compared to whites.
