Biden's Immigration Plans Disregard the Preservation of Our Culture

AOF: This writer is often interestingly off the beaten path: Today, his title (my subject line) demonstrates all-too-rare recognition of a basic truth -- immigration is an enormous cultural threat, on top of all its economic and environmental downsides.

Biden's Immigration Plans Disregard the Preservation of Our Culture

With lightning speed, the White House, presumably under the direction of Joe Biden, sent a bill to Congress claiming to "restore humanity and American values to our immigration system." Is there any truth to such a statement?

Here is a quiz. Which U.S. Republican president said these words verbatim at one of his early State of the Union addresses? Reagan, Bush Sr., Bush Jr., or Trump?

"All Americans, not only in the States most heavily affected but in every place in this country, are rightly disturbed by the large numbers of illegal aliens entering our country. The jobs they hold might otherwise be held by citizens or legal immigrants. The public service they use impose burdens on our taxpayers. That's why our administration has moved aggressively to secure our borders more by hiring a record number of new border guards, by deporting twice as many criminal aliens as ever before, by cracking down on illegal hiring, by barring welfare benefits to illegal aliens."

"In the budget I will present to you, we will try to do more to speed the deportation of illegal aliens who are arrested for crimes, to better identify illegal aliens in the workplace as recommended by the commission headed by former Congresswoman Barbara Jordan. We are a nation of immigrants. But we are also a nation of laws. It is wrong and ultimately self-defeating for a nation of immigrants to permit the kind of abuse of our immigration laws we have seen in recent years, and we must do more to stop it."

President Clinton, a proud Democrat, took this stance, which is completely adverse to today's Democrats. Roughly 61 million immigrants, for an overall increase of 18 million since the year 2000, currently reside in the U.S. including their American-born children, based on analysis of U.S. Census data. Of that total, about 15.7 million are here illegally.

[The actual numbers are at least 8.7-19.3 million higher.]

As President Clinton noted above, we are all rightly disturbed.
Population and immigration researcher Steven Camarota notes, "These numbers raise profound questions that are seldom asked:

* What number of immigrants can be assimilated?

* What is the absorption capacity of our schools, health care system, infrastructure, and labor market?

* What is the effect on the environment and quality of life from significantly increasing the nation's population density?"

"With 45 million legal immigrants and their young children already here," Camarota ponders, "does it make sense to continue admitting more than one million new legal permanent immigrants every year?" President Clinton didn't think so.

One in Five

Our longstanding immigration pattern changed after 1970. Back then, the 13.5 million immigrants represented one in 15 U.S. residents. Since 2000, with rising and largely uncontrolled numbers of immigrants, the pattern has changed. Today, nearly one [N.S.: More than one] of every five U.S. residents are immigrants.

These immigrants, immediately handed a federal basket of goodies, will vote in the direction that those who applaud mass, uncontrolled immigration have steered them.

Camarota observes that the "number of immigrants and their young children grew six times faster than the nation's total population from 1970 to 2015." In short, we have been culture-swamped. Did you get to vote on having the immigrant population here grow six times faster than the total population?

Cultural Preservation is Not Xenophobia

People who have lived here their entire lives have rights to the preservation of their culture, the same as a Laotian, a Rwandan, or a Norwegian has to theirs. Rather than imply that those who want to see order restored in the face of immigration challenges are xenophobic, perhaps we all need to give strong consideration to these kinds of questions:

1. How does the increased pressure on social services as a result of escalating immigration reshape our tax structure?

2.  How have other nations fared after they launched a wealth redistribution effort like ours?

3. Historically, what other nations survived such an onslaught?

4. If the survival rate is ominous, how are we going to fix the situation here?

5. Who specifically will do the job?

If we don't know the answers to such questions, we have no business adding to the problem as a result of ignorance, laxity, and the quest to pursue a political agenda. Unless we strive to support the health, well-being, income, and prospects of our citizens, we have no business rolling the die concerning their welfare.

A Right and a Responsibility

In the words of the late Barbara Jordan – the first African-American woman elected to the Texas Senate, and the first woman to serve Texas in the U.S. House of Representatives – "It is both a right and a responsibility of a democratic society to manage immigration so that it serves the national interest."

Just look at Yugoslavia, Sri Lanka and Lebanon to see what occurs when you mix diverse nationalities all in the same place.

It's a matter of WHOSE CULTURE the powers that be have given priority--it looks like black,Mex and Muslim(in no particular order right now).In Europe,Muslim and Arab culture seems to be the chosen way of life for the future of previously White,Christian nationalities.
Biden(and Harris) will preserve culture--just not ours.

Many years ago the great black economist Thomas Sowell showed how diversity is NOT strength, but a cause of endless trouble. The Democrats and establishment Republicans will do anything they can to import cheap labor--not caring how it affects Americans. And of course, for the Democrats there is a silver lining--the majority of the third world immigrants will vote for socialist Democrats as soon as they get citizenship--and many will BEFORE.

I may be the only person who doesn't admire Sowell for his pro-White statements.I haven't read much of his philosophy of race(except what appears here)and as I've mentioned about other blacks(Candace Owens and Larry Elder)that appear to back White people over blacks, conservatives over commies--THEY'RE BLACK! They have decided to play a role in the current makeup of the country--a niche,if you will.
I compare it to the style of various comedians. There are blue comedians like Sam Kinison, ranging through to partially blue standups like George Carlin-finally to totally clean comics like Jerry Seinfeld--all have an audience they're going after.

I wouldn't trust a black--whoever he is.

Thomas Sowell is a brilliant scholar who backs up what he says with solid research. He is not like some talk show celebrity mouthing off for popularity. He does the research and then publishes his research. He doesn't write what he does for popularity--he has been despised by the left for decades. He is admired by conservatives for his honesty and intelligence. Read some of Sowell's books before you judge.

I wouldn't trust a black--whoever he is--or whatever he says. When it's time to go after Whitey, the blm blacks who have achieved the power to begin the genocide will ask Sowell,"Are you with us or against us?:
Sowell will undoubtedly say,"LET'S GET WHITEY!"
