A San Francisco Murder Sets Leftists and Social Interest Groups at Odds

This is Jack Cashill’s take on the two San Francisco murders:

“Not since the Zebra killings of the 1970s has one murder caused San Francisco’s leftist worthies so much consternation. If you do not know of the Zebra killers, there is a reason why. The killers were black. All 21 of their victims, 14 [sic] fatal, were white or Asian. The Zodiac killer worked the same area at roughly the same time, killed far fewer people, and got ten times the attention.”

[N.S.: Correction: During the Zebra Murders, the Nation of Islam slaughtered 20 White or White-enough San Franciscans, wounding at least six.]

David in TN: Actually, the Zebra killings bothered San Francisco’s leftist worthies very little. If anything, they thought the police were too zealous trying to catch the killers. I think one of the victims was Arabic (Saleem “Sammy” Erekat). The Zodiac killer got perhaps 100 times the attention, not ten. People who are supposed to have expert knowledge of crime history have never heard of the Zebra killings.

Cashill reports that of Palladino's accused killers: “At the time of the murder, Tyjone Flournoy, 23, was on probation for a gun conviction out of San Francisco, a felony burglary from San Mateo, and a Santa Clara trespassing case. Lawrence Thomas, 24, Has had three felony burglary convictions in the last six years.”

The two suspects have had “sweetheart deals” Jeffrey Epstein would have envied.

Another point everybody has missed. Jack Palladino came out of his home to photograph a “suspicious looking car.” If they hadn’t killed him, Palladino would have been pilloried for “racial profiling.”
