David in TN: The suspect, Timothy Williams, in the cold case 1984 Wendy Jerome murder has been extradited to Rochester. The arraignment is scheduled for Saturday. This is one to follow.

The black man accused of the 1984 murder of Wendy Jerome was arraigned (https://www.whec.com/rochester-new-york-news/nab-accused-of-1984-murder-of-wendy-jerome-to-be-arranged-saturday/5867627/) Saturday morning. Timothy Williams pleaded not guilty.
The arraignment took place at 9:30 am at Rochester City Court.
"Williams appeared virtually and was held without bail."
"A preliminary hearing was scheduled for Sept. 24 at 2 pm at Rochester City Court."
Rochester, New York is now 43.7 % White and 41.7 % black, rest Hispanic, etc.
