Bernhard Goetz Case on Fox Business Channel Tonight (Sunday)
The Fox Business News Channel (not Fox News Channel) has a program on the Bernie Goetz case tonight at 9 p.m. ET. It's from their Scandalous series. I haven't seen it before.

A pretty good program. Manhattan DA Morgenthau was determined to "get" Bernhard Goetz. Three of the "victims" had continued their crime sprees after the subway incident. One of them (Ramseur) raped and sodomized a girl, serving around 15 years, paroled, sent back, eventually OD'd on 27th anniversary in 2011.
Ron Kuby's civil suit was tried before a Bronx jury in 1996. Kuby used the race card to land a 43 million dollar verdict. Goetz had no money though.
Kuby was a guest host on Court TV and once admitted to having a gun permit. A good many gun permits in New York City (I've read) go to judges and lawyers, including left-wingers. They are people who see what criminals are really like.

I remember reporters interviewing black people after the Goetz incident, most of them said things like: "Hey man, that's what happens when your rob people" or "Man had to protect himself"...
That sort of realistic attitude was not to be tolerated and the media began a quiet campaign to change that kind of thinking. We see the results of that decades later, it's clear that the white man has no right to defend himself, whether a cop or a just a regular white citizen, you have to let the negro rape, assault, rob or murder you or you are a racist.
Bernard Hugo would be dead if he had not shot the negroes trying to rob him.
