The Silence of Buzzfeed (The Hate Crime Murder of Tessa Majors)

Reader's Note: This was actually the first reporter's query I sent to Buzzfeed, after its "thing" on the Tessa Majors murder, which was not a report about the murder, but a reportorial in support of the killers, and condemning any whites who wanted justice for Tessa Majors. As my friend and partner-in-crime, David in TN, just remarked, this is the same m.o. the evil media have used, regarding the 2007 Knoxville Horror and so many other black war crimes.

Dear Ms. Nashrulla,

Tonight, I repeatedly read your co-authored article on the murder of Tessa Majors.

You quoted several students as saying numerous violent crimes had been committed in Morningside Park, prior to Majors' murder. Madeline Hermann: "We all know what is happening over there. It could have been literally any of us." Did any of them tell you or your partner that they or friends or acquaintances had been victimized or threatened in the park, or that they had been notified by Columbia/Barnard reps of danger? Did any of them tell you or your partner that they or people they knew had reported trouble in the park or its vicinity to the police (campus or NYPD), before or since Majors' murder?

When you or your partner spoke to the local precinct and/or One Police Plaza (you did call police PIOs, didn't you?), did you ask about reports of violent crime and/or menacing in Morningside Park or the vicinity before and since Majors' murder? What did the PIOs say?

By the way, you referred to Vivian Todd being "furious" about "a racist Facebook post." What did the post say that was "racist"? Reporters all have opinions, but you can't just editorialize about something someone said, including letting an informant editorialize, without giving the reader enough evidence to make an informed judgment.

Thanks in advance.

Sincerely,

Nicholas Stix

All those major colleges and universities of repute are located in "bad areas". Columbia, Yale, University of Chicago, Johns Hopkins. One step outside the school boundary and you can find yourself in big trouble.
