When Jussie Smollett’s hate hoax was initially broadcast on January 29, it was immediately obvious, and I said so. I surely was not the first person to say so, but according to my VDARE colleague, the legendary John Derbyshire, I was the first journalist to say so.
We live in a time in which the last people you’d expect to get reality right are journalists or academics, the very people whose profession is getting reality right. Even Dissident Right journos are starting to pull their punches, from prolonged exposure to MSM toxins. If you want the truth, ask a civilian, or someone who acts like one. Ain’t that a kick in the head?!

Among the many, many things illustrated by the Jussie Smollett case is this one:
- If you want a clear picture of what's happening in our society, you should ignore the Main Stream news outlets and go to Dissident Right websites
…if you can find one that hasn't been de-platformed, de-funded, de-Twittered, de-YouTubed, de-PayPal-ed, de-Facebooked, and so on.
While MSM journalists on six- and seven-digit salaries were gasping, swooning, and clutching their pearls, giving unqualified credence to Smollett's story, we Deplorable bigots out here on the un-Respectable Right were calling hoax.
VDARE.com’s Nicholas Stix—who, by the way, should you get the chance to meet him in one of our clandestine gatherings down in the catacombs, is a first-class journalist who would have been a household name back in the days when mainstream journalism meant something more than just parroting the CultMarx narrative—Nicholas Stix called hoax on January 29th, the very day it was first reported.
Steve Sailer expressed a guarded skepticism the following day:
This one is so absurd-sounding… that I'm wondering if it might not be true.
As Steve went on to point out, Smollett's tale apparently didn't sound at all absurd to Bigfoot media commentators and Democratic Presidential candidates. They swallowed it whole.
In my chosen lifetime mission as Sailer's Bulldog, I took a similar line in the February 1st Radio Derb:
I'll allow… that it might have happened, probability in the range two to five percent.
Steve and I were too cautious and Nicholas Stix's journalistic instincts were correct: This was an obvious hoax from the start.

When I heard the name Jussie Smollett, I thought of one of the main characters in Robert Louis Stevenson’s novel, “Treasure Island.” It was Captain Smollett, hired by Squire Trelawney to skipper the ship carrying the treasure-hunting party.
Stevenson might well have been thinking of Tobias Smollett when giving a good Scottish name to a character, a heroic one by the way.
Thanks for mentioning my friend Nicholas Stix. He can read these hoaxes with his eyes closed.

Stix is a very good writer, I think the guy grew up in Queens, NY, so he knows all about Negro crime and the MSM covering it up. As a fellow Queens boy, I saw through this nonsensical story from minute one, there are no White Trump voters who knew who this Jussie character was or ever watched the black TV show he was on.
Thing about black folks is they think Whitey spends time thinking, or caring about them, they’re such a self-centered, arrogant people, they really believe most of us spend more than a disgusted minute on their travails. All we want, at least the sensible majority of us, is to have as little interaction with them as possible.
Why won’t they just leave us alone? We need a new “Back to Africa” movement led by a modern day Marcus Garvey.

It is so preposterous it did sound as if it could be so. Hard to believe someone could make it all up. It does say a lot about the mentality of the prevaricator and teller of tall tales Jussie.
After all the years of covering black crime,black lies and black behavior,N.S.,I think,has a reflexive sense of disbelief when blacks try to hoax (which is much of the time).It's comparable to a doctor noticing a patient has a sneeze,cough and runny nose and diagnosing "a cold" without conducting further tests.
I haven't followed the subject of black behavior for as many years as N.S.--I never had to--Grand Rapids was an 80% white town-all on the other side,many miles away.When the Black/Mexican tsunami overspread the white neighborhoods 5-8 years ago,including mine,I noticed the stark difference of,before minority neighborhoods and after--personally.
I ran into NSU.com as I looked up "black crime/news"4-5 years ago.I've been educated as if I were taking a class in college--ever since.
Here in GR,I've watched black thugs take over the local newscasts with murder,drug dealing and hoaxes with increasing almost epidemic-like frequency.Last year alone,there were 3 black hoaxes(on whites) in GR that I reported here.
With that said,when I first heard of Jussie Smollett and the claim of white, racist,MAGA types committing a hate crime on him,my first reaction was,"Ohhhhh,right,I don't believe it."
I also thought,there goes Lesta again--assuming this to be true--even after many other black hoaxes had previously blown up in Negro Nightly News' face.
MSM has already moved on and is preparing for Smollett's pardon and reinstatement.
One last thing,I flipped on "Black Let's Make a Deal" today around 1040 am and as black Wayne Brady had his usual black contestant on,he went to a commercial break,which shockingly had ALL BLACK ACTORS in back to back commercials.Oreos was the first one,with a rap song background,then a LUVS diaper ad followed--with all blacks.
It's another milestone in liberal TV as it appears,we already weren't allowed to make commercials with only whiteys anymore--there had to be blacks conspicuously placed(with whites) at a dinner table, restaurant,bar etc,but we've now moved to all black casts in ads--no need for whitey at all--even a token white(as blacks were allowed to have appear on commercials before).
Amazing.
