N.S.: Note that if Hobson was the killer, the baby was likely the primary target. We had that kind of murder in our area a few years ago. An attractive, young, black bank teller (who didn't live around here) got knocked up by her black boyfriend. She decided she wanted the baby, but he didn't want it. So, he visited her one weekend, and plunged a knife repeatedly, deep into her belly, to ensure that he would kill the child and the mother.
