 | Two people were arrested after a shooting broke out in Oakland that wounded five men just hours after the city's monthly art event ended early Saturday, authorities said. Officers heard shots about 12:10 a.m. in the area of Williams Street and Telegraph Avenue, less than a half mile away from where the city holds its First Friday event, according to the Oakland Police Department. Two men were in a dispute that escalated and they fired guns at each other, police said. Those men, who were not identified, were injured and arrested after being transported to a hospital. Three other men in the area were also shot and transported to the hospital. |
