Baltimore police say they have identified and charged the killer of Timothy Moriconi, the 25-year-old gunned down outside his home last week in Riverside, near Federal Hill.
Police have charged 23-year-old Deandre Devon Sleet in Moriconi's killing, spokesman T.J. Smith announced at a press conference Thursday. Sleet was charged with first and second degree murder, robbery and handgun violations, among other charges.
Smith said that Moriconi was killed in a robbery.
Police also charged Kiara Treasure Wesley, 23, of Baltimore with a handgun charge in the case.

Both Wesley and Sleet were arrested after video surveillance led police to a car where they were found, along with the gun allegedly used to shot Moriconi, Smith said.
Last week, Moriconi left a relative's house and was almost home when one gun shot pierced the side of his head at about 7:22 p.m. Thursday.
His killing has rattled the South Baltimore neighborhood, among the least likely to suffer gun violence in Baltimore.
