Carolyn is always described as a white girl. She was a 21 year old married woman.
Louis was indeed a bad man. Was in the habit of raping and killing Italian women during the war. Mark Clark had him hung. The punishment was commensurate.
Lots of negro rear echelon troops during the war were committing a lot of crime. Rape and murder both. Gave the army a bad reputation.
I have often thought that if Emmett Till is all the negro have to talk about [endlessly too] after sixty years they don't have much to talk about.
