The Reds posted on social media, saying they were heartbroken to learn of Rose’s passing.
GRA: In a wheelchair, but obviously healthy enough (in his mind) to attend a baseball card show. Must have been a heart attack.

DETROIT TIGERS ARE THE WHITEST TEAM I REMEMBER SEEING IN YEARS--FANTASTIC.
(GRA)I didn't follow baseball much this year until July and I wasn't familiar with my home state Detroit Tiger team until September, but once I started checking out their games,I discovered an amazing thing--they have to be the Whitest team I can remember seeing in decades.
On their 26 man roster, there are 23 youthful,White players,2 spicanos and one asian--and they all seem to be enjoying the experience to the hilt.
Against all odds in July,Detroit made a two month run to get into the playoffs and as of this post, are up 1 game vs a formidible Houston Astros team.
Whereas other teams seem to be overloaded with mexican/latino players, the Tigers are not.
Congrats to Whitey.
