Chef Boyardee Video

Re-posted by N.S.

Considering I’m due soon for my annual 21st birthday (my son is older than me), I ought to remember it, but I don’t. As for the taste, I believe I enjoyed it at the time. Then again, when I was a kid, I enjoyed every cop (they were all “unorthodox”) and private detective show.

Everyone thought Banquet Mexican dinners were good in the late 60s and 70s.Also big in my house were pizzarinos--small,small pizzas that had nothing but cheese, tomato sauce and a piece of pepperoni(maybe).Ate that up for lunch many a day.

Spaghettios--check.Ravioli--check.

Wouldn't touch any of it now. That was b.s.(before steak).

Once you start eating better food, the garbage you used to eat as a kid, reveals itself to actually BE garbage.

Many years later(30),I bought a "new and improved" banquet Mexican dinner. We must have had sharper knives 30 years before, because cutting cardboard would have been easier than attempting to carve up the hard as a rock enchilada and tostada in the "improved" TV dinner.

On the other hand,Mom's cooking was always great and then got better. But that other stuff--barf bag please.
