"baltimore city fire officials said five adults and two children suffered burns in a bonfire accident. baltimore city fire department spokesman Kevin Cartwright said firefighters were called around 7:30 p.m. sunday to the 1600 block of Desoto road behind a hindu temple and cultural center for a report of several people suffering a varying degree of burns. when firefighters arrived, they found seven burn victims, two of them children, suffering from varying degrees of first-, second- and third-degree burns."

Because India is the largest country in the world--surpassing China's population--there are naturally many people at the high end of the IQ bell curse--and this causes many to overestimate the intelligence of the average Indian. Actually the average Indian has a low IQ--like the average Mexican.
Actually, the average indian is considerably dumber than the average mexican. The average mex has an iq of 89, while the average indian is down at 82, according to the late Richard Lynn.
Well over a billion indians (and growing rapidly) vs about 240 million Whites in the US (and decreasing) They draw on close to 5 times the number of people our country does and those exceptional minds are the most visible to us.

Some fantastic statistic about India says that about 1/3 of the people cannot even read and write and that one third beyond them can read end WRITE but maybe only at the 4th grade level and nothing more but since they do have such a large population again as was previously noted they do have a lot of people with high IQ just from the size of the population
