Everything,ANY PERSON says,is offensive to someone.NOTHING,that can be said,is offensive to everyone.
(My maxim).
With that as a guide,no one should be punished for saying what they want to say.ACTIONS are what the law is supposed to enforce--not words--except for slander.

Calling blacks "thugs",is not slander.Calling them "stupid" or "violent" is not slander.

Job loss for tweeting should be protested by writing an objection or protesting in person(hopefully with thousands of others alongside.)

IF people are only allowed to say things which won't offend anyone, it means nothing of significance can be said. Freedom of speech is more important than hurt feelings. I suggest everyone needs to have a thicker skin. We should bring back ethnic jokes to counter the idea that no one is allowed to be offended.
