Well, well. The chief suspect is on tape saying he committed the murder. So far, no major news outlets but the NY Post and Daily Mail have reported this development.
When will the trial take place?

As of today, March 21, there has been no news on the Tessa Majors murder case since September of last year. No word on when the trial of the remaining suspect will take place.
As usual, a news blackout until the trial or plea deal.
