Jerry,YOU are right on.Maybe the coronavirus will give Maine patriots the gumption to stop the Somali virus in the future--after seeing how effective they are in this example.You have to acknowledge that courts will get involved in either situation.Only a full blown disregard for the courts would enable common citizens to protect their homes,in the manner you suggest--that,and a civil war--which I'm in favor of,as the ultimate cure and reset

Something in English common law says if the authorities will not protect you it is legal and just if you defend yourself. Sorta obvious.

During the time of ancient warfare it was called an abatis. Many trees felled across a road. Then tie together with stout wire. Try to move one and you find you move all but with much more difficulty.
