He wasn't 18, he was 19. But an 18-year-old is plenty old enough to handle a firearm. So, the same people who want 14-year-olds to vote on gun-grabbing legislation assert that a 19-year-old is too young to handle a gun?
I'm not aware of any legislation that would have prevented this atrocity, save for repealing any laws that create "gun-free zones."
We already have background checks and do not issue licenses to known crazy people.
Dana Loesch is being way too defensive. She needs to ask who is behind Emma Gonzalez and Co. The obsession with shutting down the NRA means that Gonzalez' handlers seek to repeal or nullify the Second Amendment.
Who are you serving, Emma?

By the way, Emma Gonzalez is not a shooting survivor. Nobody shot her. A shooting survivor is somebody who was shot, but lived.

Now, we see it clearly. They’re making their move on the Second Amendment.
Sheriff Israel’s assertion is as wrong as wrong can be. There are millions of responsible 12-year-old rifle owners in this country.
So, we’re supposed to let underaged, leftist “children” order us around, and shame us into submitting to their authority, and yet no eighteen-year-olds should ever have a rifle?
Unlike Dana Loesch, I do not salute Emma Gonzalez or her comrades. Loesch is playing a losing hand.

The girls also had explained how unsupportive their mothers, fathers, aunts or other adults had been after they confided in them about the abuse. The girls said those trusted adults warned them that if they reported the abuse to police, no one would believe them and no one would want to marry them. The adults also told them it was up to Allah to decide Noor's guilt, not a court of law, investigators said.
In the months leading up to trial, two of Noor’s victims recanted. The third -- who stuck by her story -- testified her parents had disowned her.
A fourth young woman also testified that she'd been disowned for coming forward about Noor's abuse of her. She was allowed to testify, even though the statute of limitations had already passed and Noor couldn't be convicted of molesting her.
The article details how pressure from the community led girls to recant. Not just family members but the entire community banded together to get the girls to "shut up"! Much like American blacks, they want this sort of thing to be "whitey's thing" and will do whatever they have to in order to maintain that illusion. You also have to consider they come from a culture that marries off 12 year old girls to older men so they don't think an adult man having sex with a girl is even wrong (according to the article his victims ranged from 11 to 16).
A white man was arrested recently for molesting children in a daycare and his face was featured on the top page, whereas this colored Somali man just had a courtroom photo of several people together that was unclear from the headline what the perp looked like. They did give him a full frontal in the article itself but with a dumbed down public that only remembers what they see on the front pages, it's a sneaky way for our liberal media to collaborate with racists negroes in stereotyping whites.

A Florida student claims that CNN rewrote his question for the network's Wednesday night town hall debate on gun violence.
Colton Haab, a junior at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School, where 17 people were shot and killed last week, says he did not attend the event when he realized it would be a "total waste of [his] time."
CNN denies that it scripted questions for any of the participants at the town hall, which was attended by Sen. Marco Rubio (R-Fla.), Sen. Bill Nelson (D-Fla.) and NRA spokeswoman Dana Loesch.

I made this point on “survivors” on a MSM article too. 17 of the 3000 kids were murdered. That’s .5% so 99.5% of the kids were “survivors”. If a 747 crashed and one of the two hundred passengers died, would we even call it a crash?
It’s all to distract from the REAL story that the cops are unbelievably incompetent. 39 calls to known mental misfit’s home, psych diagnosis as defective (“autistic” and “adhd”), self cutting, documented threats on multiple occasions, known gun purchases, reports to FBI warning of danger posed, and the cop assigned to the school hiding while the shooting took place. Cops failed spectacularly and 17 kids died. That’s the story here.
We have always had bullied defective kids and we always will - thus is the nature of kids. But historically we (parents) were smart enough to keep defective kids away from guns and cops have intervened when there was evidence otherwise. Now we have freaks like at Newtown armed by their single mom and at Parkland armed by a single mom. No dads. No cops doing their job. We can expect more of this in our emasculated society as defective boys with single moms and female school officials and emasculated cops all fail to control grossly defective boys.
