“If, through rules changes, subterfuge and faithless delegates, party elites swindle him out of the nomination, do they think that the millions who came out to vote for Trump will go home and say: We lost it fair and square?

Do they think they can then go back to open borders, amnesty, a path to citizenship, the Trans-Pacific Partnership and nation building?...”

George Hawley, who has written a book on right-wing critics of "American Conservatism", says the beltway types think "they can go back."

The polls have closed in Wisconsin and...no call on Trump or Cruz.Trump a little closer than
what we were led to believe?Maybe Ford Motor Co. building a plant in Mexico(with 4800 jobs) giving some late votes to Trump? It would seem at least possible.

Guess I spoke too soon.Cruz named the winner. The only question is the margin. The interesting item that I see very little coverage about is what is in it for Ted Cruz from this moment on?If he s counting on a contested convention to give him the nomination--with his popularity among other Republicans at near zero--he has to be dreaming. So he s wasting all this energy for no reward at the end of it all.Just saw that Cruz's plan is to have Rubio delegates vote for him on the first ballot. That s only 140 some delegates.Right now Cruz and Kasich are seemingly just jamming everything up for someone else to come in(Ryan,Romney,Jeb?)and run against Clinton. What a mess.
