The Tampa Bay Tribune has just won a Pulitzer Prize for its discovery of five black high school “failure factories” in Pinellas County FL, where I now live. The implication: if weak teachers are removed, the five failing schools will metamorphose into satisfactory schools. As a career education professor, I roll my eyes. The Times’ intellectuals (Michael LaForgia, [Email] Cara Fitzpatrick [Email] and Lisa Gartner[Email] ) were apparently unaware of the pattern of “failing” black schools in places like Newark, Camden, Chicago, Baltimore, Detroit, Atlanta…in fact, everywhere. Why?

Two items:School superintendents consider 50% graduation of blacks a huge success. In GR,black super Theresa Weatherall was patting herself on the back yesterday for such an achievement. However, the test difficulties have been eased and I don t believe the numbers anyways.Black supers cook the books to get their bonuses and no one calls them out on it.
The second item is Treasury secretary Jack Lew announced great white historical figure Andrew Jackson will be replaced on the $20 bill by HARRIETT TUBMAN!!!Not only that...the $5 bill will be tampered with to show civil rights leaders.Might as well take Washington off the dollar and put Washington Carver on there too.I knew they were thinking about it,but obviously Obama wanted it done before he leaves office.Another great day in American history (tons of sarcasm intended).

Even Bill O'Reilly went pol-correct about Tubman."She helped 300 slaves escape and deserves to be on our money".Come on Bill.In a little slot of history she had a niche.Florence Nightingale saved more lives than Tubman. They were just WHITE lives though--not important anymore.I tried to predict where Lester Holt would place this story. It was #3...right after the Flint water story (showing evil white guys being charged by a state prosecutor interested in appeasing the black populous). If I remember correctly,a black regulator was put in charge of this water switch.from the Detroit River to the Flint River. These white guys are obvious fall guys for someone else.If not one black is brought to court for complicity,THAT should be investigated as well.
