To Kill a Mockingbird: Elmer Bernstein’s Original Score (the Full, 29:37 Album!)

Re-posted by Nicholas Stix

This beautiful score elevated an otherwise powerful picture to the level of a masterpiece.

Elmer Bernstein would occasionally work an homage to his mentor, Aaron Copland, into his scores. “Rollin’ the Tire” is his homage here, evoking themes from Billy the Kid and Rodeo.
