violent west side of detroit (15-minute video)

My parents were married at a Methodist Church in Detroit. Years later, they wanted to visit it. The police told them not to. Too violent, and as a White couple they would be targeted. My uncle was an M.D., practicing in Royal Oak. Always was smoking a pipe, even in his office. Mixture 79.

N.S.: Today, it would be much worse, because the cops wouldn't warn them.

WOMAN GETS OKAY TO CONTINUE STATUTORY RAPE LAWSUIT ANONYMOUSLY AGAINST JAY-Z AND DIDDY.

NEW YORK (AP) — An Alabama woman who says she was raped by Jay-Z and Sean “Diddy” Combs when she was 13 can proceed anonymously, for now, in her lawsuit against the rap moguls, a judge ruled Thursday.

In her written order, Judge Analisa Torres also chastised the lawyer representing Jay-Z for what she described as his combative motions and “inflammatory language” against the plaintiff’s lawyer, calling them inappropriate.

The Manhattan jurist said the woman can proceed anonymously at this early stage of the litigation, but she may be required to reveal her identity at a later date, if the case proceeds. That would allow defense lawyers to collect facts necessary to prepare for trial. Torres also cited “substantial interest” from the public.

Combs remains jailed in New York awaiting a criminal trial on federal sex trafficking charges. He also faces a wave of sexual assault lawsuits, many of which were filed by the plaintiff’s lawyer, Tony Buzbee, a Texas attorney who says his firm represents over 150 people, both men and women, who allege sexual abuse and exploitation by Combs.

The lawsuits allege many individuals were abused at parties in New York, California and Florida after receiving drug-laced drinks.

GRA:I didn't know JAY-Z was named in this case. Good.

OVERWEIGHT,PIZZA DELIVERING,FEMALE, WETBACK(FETBACK?)CHARGED WITH ATTEMPTED MURDER OF PREGNANT WOMAN,AFTER TIP SHE RECEIVED,"WASN'T GOOD ENOUGH."

(nbc5)A pizza deliverer in central Florida has been charged with pushing her way into a motel room with an accomplice and stabbing a pregnant woman after a dispute over a tip, authorities said.

A woman allegedly stabbed one person multiple times in Kissimmee over a bad tip for pizza delivery, according to the Osceola County Sheriff’s Office.

The victim had ordered pizza from a local restaurant on Dec. 22, authorities said.

The woman gave Alvelo $50 on a $33.10 bill, expecting change back. When Alvelo started walking away, the woman asked for money back, and the pizza deliverer told her they didn't make change as a policy, according to an arrest report.

The woman began searching for smaller denominations in two purses in her motel room and in her car, with Alvelo watching. She got a smaller dollar bill from her boyfriend, with whom she was staying at the hotel along with her 5-year-old daughter, and Alvelo's tip ended up being $2, the report said.

The suspect, 22-year-old Brianna Alvelo, allegedly “became upset about the amount of tip she received” and later returned to the victim’s room at Riviera Motel, located at 2248 E Irlo Bronson Memorial Highway.

That’s when she and a man with a gun allegedly forced their way into the room, and Alvelo stabbed one of the victims multiple times.

The suspects allegedly also took items from the room, authorities said.

Alvelo is accused of home invasion with a firearm, attempted murder, kidnapping and aggravated assault.

Prosecutors said,"These crimes were deserving of a life sentence. "

CHICAGO IS BROKE(THEORETICALLY),YET(mostly black)TEACHERS WANT 10-12% COLA RAISES. mEX AND bLACKS FIGHT OVER TAKING OUT A HIGH INTEREST LOAN TO COVER THE RAISES.

(ZH) Chicago mayor,Brandon Johnson’s entire board resigned unanimously in November when Johnson told them to fire CPS CEO Pedro Martinez. Johnson sought to terminate Martinez because Martinez didn’t support Johnson’s push to take out a high-interest loan to cover CPS’ $300 million shortfall.

The Chicago Teachers’ Union (CTU) proposal includes annual raises of 10-12 percent after factoring in cost-of-living adjustments. And the union demands 13,000 new positions despite falling school enrollment.

Martinez filed suit on his removal from the CTU negotiations because his contact calls for 180 days extension if he is fired without cause.

Martinez Wins Temporary Restraining Order
Yahoo!Finance reports Pedro Martinez Wins Temporary Restraining Order Against School Board After Ouster.

Mayor Brandon Johnson’s handpicked school board was blocked from modifying Chicago Public Schools CEO Pedro Martinez’s duties by a Cook County Judge on Tuesday, giving the embattled schools chief a victory as he battles with City Hall over the district’s future.

Judge Joel Chupack granted Martinez a temporary restraining order against CPS board members after hearing arguments that they obstructed Martinez’s performance of his job duties.

The conflict dates back to September when the mayor asked CPS CEO Martinez to take out a $300 million high-interest loan to cover a new proposed teachers contract and a pension payment previously paid for by the city. Facing deficits of around $500 million in each of the next five years, Martinez said the loan would be fiscally irresponsible.

GRA:Why should Chicago worry about being insolvent when the federal government doesn't have to? Broke is broke--funny money is funny money. The obvious crooked solution is the federal government coming to the rescue with the money needed. I wouldn't be in favor of it,but WHY NOT?
