(cincinnati.com) Two men charged in a downtown Cincinnati fight that was caught on viral video are accused of coordinating the assault, according to prosecutors.
Montianez Merriweather, 34, and Jermaine Matthews, 39, are facing charges in Hamilton County Municipal Court, including felonious assault and aggravated riot.
Merriweather was out on bond when police said he was involved in the early morning brawl on July 26 in downtown Cincinnati. He received a $500,000 bond during a July 30 arraignment in Hamilton County Municipal Court. Matthews was given a $100,000 bond, although a judge is expected to set an additional bond on July 31.

Cincinnati police Detective Barney Blank said video of the incident shows Merriweather walking up to Matthews, whispering something to him and approaching one of the victims from behind before striking him in the face.
Merriweather and Matthews then chased the victim, who was trying to retreat, to the ground before punching and kicking him, Blank said. The detective added that Merriweather went after another man.
"We believe that he coordinated this with Mr. Matthews," Blank said.
Blank added that Matthews was seen on video knocking the victim to the ground and kicking him several times in the face and chest, before going after another victim.
"This is extreme behavior, extreme violence," said Assistant Hamilton County Prosecutor David Hickenlooper.
Attorney argues social media video 'is not all of the evidence'
However, Merriweather's and Matthews' attorneys said they were not the aggressors.
"What was released on social media is not all of the evidence," said Brandon Fox, Matthews' attorney. "It's been described by the vice president of the United States as a 'mob' attack, and that just simply isn't what occurred."

Fox said Matthews was standing on a street corner for his business when a fight broke out on the sidewalk. The attorney added that Matthews tried to break up the fight(GRA:Probably a kick to a White man's face) and when he returned, a man was kicking his business vehicle.
When Matthews went to confront the man, he was slapped in the face, Fox said. The detective said police are looking into the victim first striking Matthews. Blank added that before the slap, Matthews could be seen on video squaring up with another individual.
GRA:The "kicking the vehicle" and "slap in the face" make no sense. The first black whopper --"(White man)kicking the business vehicle"--for no reason--coincidentally,is HIS business vehicle. Of ALL the vehicles to kick,Matthews' was the one chosen. Riiight.
Part two of the whopper,follows part one--"I was slapped." To believe part 2,you must believe Whitey was "kicking Matthews' vehicle".

And saying these two thugs "coordinated" the attack gives them too much credit. black attacks are spur of the moment--"look,there's two crackers--let's "f" them up" is what usually happens.
There were 100 other blacks involved(by counts given) and no one was "coordinated"--it was a race riot--against Whites in the area. Once blacks get that taste of going after White skin,it feeds on itself and ends up with what you see on the video.

The deceased cop in the nyc midtown office building mass murder is supposedly an "immigrant from bangladesh." The photo shows him to be light-skinned. It is likely the killer got off the first shot, with the cop being hesitant to shoot a black perp. First details are often wrong. At first, the deceased cop was a female, but now has been id'd as a male.
The perp was apparently black-japanese. Maybe we should be thankful he killed himself. It saved him being fed and housed by the state the rest of his life.

You let the rubes work themselves up into believing everything they wanted to believe about The Epstein Files, all the crazy stuff they posted from Mom's basement into Torba's gabspiracy hq comment threads. Trouble is that the customers ordered the product they thought you promised but it doesn't look anything at all like the picture on the website.
All you got is whatever you inherited from a deep state full of politicized fiction writers who loved Christopher Steele's work on the trump-moscow dossier thriller. They had years, including almost nine months since the election to add/edit/delete at their pleasure with the finest secret tools of deepstate technology.
So by now "The Files" probably show Bill Clinton making 28 visits helping children rescue endangered tropical species and deepfake video of elected republicans and their big donors banging pre-teens and passing classified documents via russian honeypots' bodily orifices. The ai has created "proof" of Epstein's suicide and it's impressive how quickly the 14-fingered ai version of Epstein tied his own noose.
The golfer-in-chief meant well but he hit this one into the rough. The democrats cleverly said "Play the ball where it lies, release the files, make our day," and that sent Mike McBible into hiding for five weeks. There will be so much work piled up in the capitol after labor day - and so little time - that lil' Mikey will tell us we can't have debates on everything, we just have to do a giant omnibus bigbeautifulsh*tsandwich sequel, and then pressure everyone to vote yes at 1:00 a.m. on dec. 24 to avoid a shutdown and save Christmas, or you won't get presidenttrump's endorsement in nov. 26.

Cincinnati’s riot was in many ways generic.
The “Queen City,” as Cincinnati is known, has its own generic (but considerably younger), Maxine Waters-style, racist politician, Councilwoman Alicia Reece. As reported by Jane Prendergast and Robert Anglen in the April 10 Cincinnati Enquirer, Councilwoman Reece demanded, to the cheers of a black mob that had taken over City Hall, and refused to let any white leaders speak, that “Every member of the council, from the mayor on down, needs to be here today. Leadership needs to deal with the diversity that exists in the city.”
Translation: “White leaders need to grovel before racist, black mobs ... and before me.”
The city also has its own, Al Sharpton-style, racist demagogue of a preacher, the Rev. Damon Lynch III, who leads a protection racket, er, “civil rights group,” Cincinnati Black United Front, and who controls the New Prospect Baptist Church. What no mainstream media outlet would say, is that Black United Front is a nationwide, black supremacist organization, which is out front, in demanding that reparations be paid to all black Americans.
In the April 16 Detroit News, propaganda officer Jodi S. Cohen quoted the Rev. Lynch as saying, “If we don’t get our leaders to realize that race relations has to be the first priority, before the economic development, we’re not going anywhere.”
Translation: “Screw economic development — apartheid now! Uhuru sasa!
When being interviewed by the likes of Komrade Ted Koppell, the Rev. Lynch has been careful to speak of the violence as “tragic.” At the same time, Koppell, who loves abusing white guests as supposed “racists,” in order to earn brownie points from black guests, is equally careful not to be a real journalist, and press the good reverend, on the latter’s racism. But during the April 9 City Hall meeting, the Rev. Lynch threatened to have his men hold the city’s councilmen, and even the chief of police, hostage. And while leading last Saturday’s funeral service for Timothy Thomas, the Rev. Lynch called on mourners, “Stand up black men, stand up for black rights! Stand up for black children!
He might as well have been a Jerusalem imam, calling on “Palestinians” to stone Jews.
And then, while being interviewed on NPR by Bob Edwards on April 17, the good reverend thanked the rioters, though in a Clintonesque, passive fashion.
Bob Edwards: “What kinds of discussions have taken place with the Cincinnati police force?”
The Rev. Damon Lynch III: “The discussion that’s taken place with the police has been on the street through confrontation. The police force is just not somebody you talk to here in Cincinnati....
Bob Edwards: “What are you saying to teenagers about what’s happened?
The Rev. Damon Lynch III: “One of the things that’s being said to teenagers is ‘thank you,’ because the honest reality, while nobody advocates violence, and while it wasn’t just teenagers, but there was a large group of young people that hit the streets, if there had been no violence, there wouldn’t have been the international media, there wouldn’t have been the business community coming out of the woodwork nor the religious community....
In 1991, convicted kidnapper and attempted murderer, Robert “Sonny” Carson, spoke similarly after the black pogrom against orthodox and Chassidic Jews in Crown Heights, Brooklyn, which included the lynching of Yankel Rosenbaum. New York’s black supremacist radio station, WLIB, broadcast Carson saying, “They want me to criticize you, but I’m proud of you.”
The difference is, that Sonny Carson didn’t hide behind the passive voice.
Cincinnati has its own black supremacist counter-police, The Sentinels. Led by Scotty Johnson, The Sentinels is an organization of black police officers who never met a gangbanger they didn’t like, or a white brother in blue they didn’t hate.
And of course, there is the obsequious, white mayor from central casting, Democrat Charlie Luken, himself the son of a previous mayor. (New York City Mayor Rudolph Giuliani is the only white, urban mayor I know of, who has in recent years stood up to black racists, but Rudy Giuliani is the original Brother from Another Planet!)
Appearing on Ted Koppel’s show, Nightline, on April 12 with the Rev. Damon Lynch III, Mayor Luken did everything but say, “Yassuh, Massa,” to the Rev. Lynch.
“It’s unthinkable,” Mayor Luken said of Cincinnati’s race relations. “It’s unthinkable that 15 men could have died in five years” at the hands of the police.
Agreeing with his echo, the Rev. Lynch maintained that, “fundamental and systematic changes have to be made.... The city faces a number of events by next summer.... For the good of the community, I think it is necessary that some people resign.... The most pressing problem Cincinnati has, is race relations.”
Mayor Echo: “I think that because of the rash of shootings, this is on the surface.... Obviously, something substantive is going to have to happen this weekend.... Many of the issues Rev. Lynch has identified, we agree with at City Hall.
On April 14, Mayor Luken illegally fired, er “reassigned” white Public Safety Director Kent Ryan, in apparent violation of the police chief’s civil service protection. The Rev. Lynch had demanded that such protection be eliminated; in Mayor Luken’s rush to serve his new master, he did not bother with trivialities like changing the law.
And on April 17, Mayor Luken did everything but get on his hands and knees, before a racist black mob at a City Council meeting at City Hall.
According to Associated Press operative James Hannah, “About 200 people turned a City Council meeting into a forum on race relations as they vented their anger over the police shooting of an unarmed black man ...
“Several residents warned Cincinnati officials of more violence if police are not brought to justice over the shooting.
“‘You’ve got all these kids out there ready to explode,’ Lamonte Jordan said.
“‘It’s going to be war,’ added George Weaver.
Some translations are in order. When James Hannah says, “people,” he means “black people.” Likewise, “a forum on race relations” means, “blacks may rage, while whites must shut up or suck up.”
“If police are not brought to justice ...” If you didn’t know better, you’d think it was the police who had destroyed, looted, and torched businesses, smashed white drivers’ cars, and beaten many whites almost to death with bricks and baseball bats.
Mayor Echo’s response: “This can’t continue. We must do better as a community... We have to listen to one another.
Imagine if there had been a town meeting in Tulsa, Oklahoma in 1921, following the white race riot that destroyed a beautiful, thriving black neighborhood, and beat and murdered blacks. I’ll bet white supremacists would have struck poses remarkably similar to those of Cincinnati’s black supremacists in 2001.
James Hannah writes, “Norma Payne said that when she looks at city officials, she sees ‘the same old slave masters,’ and ‘the same Gestapo of Hitler’s regime. When I look at you, I think you may be the KKK in disguise.
Had the irony-deficient Norma Payne ever known such conditions, she would not have been able to make such accusations, and live.
My own historical parallel also has its limits. After all, in Tulsa, white racists destroyed a black neighborhood; in Cincinnati, black racists destroyed a ... black neighborhood. And while Tulsa’s white rioters knew they were killing off a thriving neighborhood, Cincinnati’s black rioters knew that black race riots today result in federally-funded boondoggles tomorrow.
[Postscript, july 31, 2025: Having permitted racist liars like Ted Koppel mislead me, in 2001 I misrepresented the facts of the 1921 race riot in Tulsa. It seems that Whites had not attacked the black area without provocation. Rather, black supremacists had committed mass murder against Whites, and the Whites defended themselves, killing more blacks than the number of Whites the blacks had slaughtered.]
Cincinnati Black United Front’s (i.e., the Rev. Lynch’s) many demands, include hiring “200 community resource workers” (read: subsidizing muggers), and providing “more training resources for black youth” (read: subsidizing muggers).
How many times have we been there, done that? “Training” means paying people who refuse to work, to take one worthless “training course” after another. Remember the billion-dollar, 1970’s boondoggle, the Comprehensive Employment and Training Act (CETA)? Of course, the Rev. Lynch (or Councilwoman Reece) or his stooges would chair the committees in charge of these programs, and “disburse” the federal money.
The Rev. Lynch’s contemporary angle, is his attempt at a racial takeover of the police department through demands for “reform.” He sees a golden opportunity to turn Cincinnati into another Detroit or Washington, D.C. His fantasy is apparently to disarm the police, and deputize gangbangers.
(Something like that already happened, on a small scale, in Miami, some ten years ago. In an aggressive, “don’t ask, don’t tell” affirmative action program that provided a vision for multicultural reform in law enforcement, the police department hired scores of convicted felons as police officers.)
Last but not least, come the generic, politically correct media, who refuse to report the facts, misrepresent them in their best “a half-truth is a whole lie” fashion, or who “report” events that may not have even happened.
And so it was, that media outlets reported that immediately after the April 14 funeral service for Timothy Thomas, during which the Rev. Lynch had called on blacks to spill yet more white blood, police assaulted yet more, innocent blacks.
On New York’s WABC-TV, 11 p.m. Eyewitness News broadcast, an anchor intoned, “Police are trying to explain why police fired bean bags into a crowd at a peaceful demonstration.”
Black assistant police chief, Lt. Col. Ron Twitty, told a reporter, “We have a witness.”
“We have a witness”? As Chief Twitty knows, there’s always a “witness.” Like the “witness” who called 911, claiming to have seen Officer Steven Roach kill “the wrong man”? A demonstration takes place outside the highest-profile local funeral in years, yet there is no videotape, and no journalists have come forward to bear witness?
Cincinnati also got help from the usual out-of-town suspects. Frizzel Gray, aka Kweisi Mfume, president of the NAACP, swooped in, and said that Cincinnati was for him, well, a generic city, while Malik Zulu Shabazz, Grand Wizard of the New Black Panthers following the February death of his mentor, Khalid Muhammad, sought to help along the “uprising.”
In one respect, Cincinnati is NOT generic.
Derrick Blassingame, all of 14 years old, is the president of Cincinnati’s newly-formed, Black Coalition Against Youth Violence.
On April 17, AP operative Terry Kinney quoted young Blassingame as saying, “The older generation could have prevented this.... Our black leaders are not leading us.
Blassingame “blamed last week’s racial tension [!] on police, the media, and the black men considered their spokesmen.
Despite his youth, Derrick Blassingame speaks already with the forked-tongue of the career politician. He’s not angry that riots happened; he’s angry that no demagogue had set off the explosion earlier. He should call his group, “Black Coalition for Ultra-Violence.”
Derrick Blassingame gives new meaning to the Biblical phrase, “And a child shall lead them.”
The Feds will surely subsidize Cincinnati’s rioters, as they did Los Angeles’ rioters in 1992 and again in 2000.
And though the Rev. Damon Lynch III will see many of his demands met, he will not be satisfied. After a brief respite, he will begin working —perhaps with a new, young assistant — toward setting the fire next time.

Cincinnati’s riot was in many ways generic.
The “Queen City,” as Cincinnati is known, has its own generic (but considerably younger), Maxine Waters-style, racist politician, Councilwoman Alicia Reece. As reported by Jane Prendergast and Robert Anglen in the April 10 Cincinnati Enquirer, Councilwoman Reece demanded, to the cheers of a black mob that had taken over City Hall, and refused to let any white leaders speak, that “Every member of the council, from the mayor on down, needs to be here today. Leadership needs to deal with the diversity that exists in the city.”
Translation: “White leaders need to grovel before racist, black mobs ... and before me.”
The city also has its own, Al Sharpton-style, racist demagogue of a preacher, the Rev. Damon Lynch III, who leads a protection racket, er, “civil rights group,” Cincinnati Black United Front, and who controls the New Prospect Baptist Church. What no mainstream media outlet would say, is that Black United Front is a nationwide, black supremacist organization, which is out front, in demanding that reparations be paid to all black Americans.
In the April 16 Detroit News, propaganda officer Jodi S. Cohen quoted the Rev. Lynch as saying, “If we don’t get our leaders to realize that race relations has to be the first priority, before the economic development, we’re not going anywhere.”
Translation: “Screw economic development — apartheid now! Uhuru sasa!
When being interviewed by the likes of Komrade Ted Koppell, the Rev. Lynch has been careful to speak of the violence as “tragic.” At the same time, Koppell, who loves abusing white guests as supposed “racists,” in order to earn brownie points from black guests, is equally careful not to be a real journalist, and press the good reverend, on the latter’s racism. But during the April 9 City Hall meeting, the Rev. Lynch threatened to have his men hold the city’s councilmen, and even the chief of police, hostage. And while leading last Saturday’s funeral service for Timothy Thomas, the Rev. Lynch called on mourners, “Stand up black men, stand up for black rights! Stand up for black children!
He might as well have been a Jerusalem imam, calling on “Palestinians” to stone Jews.
And then, while being interviewed on NPR by Bob Edwards on April 17, the good reverend thanked the rioters, though in a Clintonesque, passive fashion.
Bob Edwards: “What kinds of discussions have taken place with the Cincinnati police force?”
The Rev. Damon Lynch III: “The discussion that’s taken place with the police has been on the street through confrontation. The police force is just not somebody you talk to here in Cincinnati....
Bob Edwards: “What are you saying to teenagers about what’s happened?
The Rev. Damon Lynch III: “One of the things that’s being said to teenagers is ‘thank you,’ because the honest reality, while nobody advocates violence, and while it wasn’t just teenagers, but there was a large group of young people that hit the streets, if there had been no violence, there wouldn’t have been the international media, there wouldn’t have been the business community coming out of the woodwork nor the religious community....
In 1991, convicted kidnapper and attempted murderer, Robert “Sonny” Carson, spoke similarly after the black pogrom against orthodox and Chassidic Jews in Crown Heights, Brooklyn, which included the lynching of Yankel Rosenbaum. New York’s black supremacist radio station, WLIB, broadcast Carson saying, “They want me to criticize you, but I’m proud of you.”
The difference is, that Sonny Carson didn’t hide behind the passive voice.
Cincinnati has its own black supremacist counter-police, The Sentinels. Led by Scotty Johnson, The Sentinels is an organization of black police officers who never met a gangbanger they didn’t like, or a white brother in blue they didn’t hate.
And of course, there is the obsequious, white mayor from central casting, Democrat Charlie Luken, himself the son of a previous mayor. (New York City Mayor Rudolph Giuliani is the only white, urban mayor I know of, who has in recent years stood up to black racists, but Rudy Giuliani is the original Brother from Another Planet!)
Appearing on Ted Koppel’s show, Nightline, on April 12 with the Rev. Damon Lynch III, Mayor Luken did everything but say, “Yassuh, Massa,” to the Rev. Lynch.
“It’s unthinkable,” Mayor Luken said of Cincinnati’s race relations. “It’s unthinkable that 15 men could have died in five years” at the hands of the police.
Agreeing with his echo, the Rev. Lynch maintained that, “fundamental and systematic changes have to be made.... The city faces a number of events by next summer.... For the good of the community, I think it is necessary that some people resign.... The most pressing problem Cincinnati has, is race relations.”
Mayor Echo: “I think that because of the rash of shootings, this is on the surface.... Obviously, something substantive is going to have to happen this weekend.... Many of the issues Rev. Lynch has identified, we agree with at City Hall.
On April 14, Mayor Luken illegally fired, er “reassigned” white Public Safety Director Kent Ryan, in apparent violation of the police chief’s civil service protection. The Rev. Lynch had demanded that such protection be eliminated; in Mayor Luken’s rush to serve his new master, he did not bother with trivialities like changing the law.
And on April 17, Mayor Luken did everything but get on his hands and knees, before a racist black mob at a City Council meeting at City Hall.
According to Associated Press operative James Hannah, “About 200 people turned a City Council meeting into a forum on race relations as they vented their anger over the police shooting of an unarmed black man ...
“Several residents warned Cincinnati officials of more violence if police are not brought to justice over the shooting.
“‘You’ve got all these kids out there ready to explode,’ Lamonte Jordan said.
“‘It’s going to be war,’ added George Weaver.
Some translations are in order. When James Hannah says, “people,” he means “black people.” Likewise, “a forum on race relations” means, “blacks may rage, while whites must shut up or suck up.”
“If police are not brought to justice ...” If you didn’t know better, you’d think it was the police who had destroyed, looted, and torched businesses, smashed white drivers’ cars, and beaten many whites almost to death with bricks and baseball bats.
Mayor Echo’s response: “This can’t continue. We must do better as a community... We have to listen to one another.
Imagine if there had been a town meeting in Tulsa, Oklahoma in 1921, following the white race riot that destroyed a beautiful, thriving black neighborhood, and beat and murdered blacks. I’ll bet white supremacists would have struck poses remarkably similar to those of Cincinnati’s black supremacists in 2001.
James Hannah writes, “Norma Payne said that when she looks at city officials, she sees ‘the same old slave masters,’ and ‘the same Gestapo of Hitler’s regime. When I look at you, I think you may be the KKK in disguise.
Had the irony-deficient Norma Payne ever known such conditions, she would not have been able to make such accusations, and live.
My own historical parallel also has its limits. After all, in Tulsa, white racists destroyed a black neighborhood; in Cincinnati, black racists destroyed a ... black neighborhood. Unless you depend on the New York Times for news, you are aware that last week, Cincinnati was besieged by a black-on-white race riot.
The Times dispatched propaganda officer Francis X. Clines to Cincinnati, where he reported on “demonstrators,” “vandalism,” and “alarmed whites.” Day after day, Clines quoted black Cincinnatians complaining about “racial profiling” and murderous white police, while managing to remain blissfully unaware of the riot swirling about him.
Roving mobs of black gang-bangers and non-aligned black thugs have been throwing bricks and concrete through the windshields of white motorists’ cars, dragging the drivers out of their cars, and beating them within an inch of their lives with bricks and baseball bats. The same mobs, wearing bandannas around their faces, set businesses on fire. These were not “protesters.” This was not “vandalism.” The white motorists were not “alarmed.”
There is a special circle in Hell reserved for “reporters” like Francis X. Clines. The dumbest thing about his deceptions is their hopeless character. With all of today’s alternative news sources, did Clines and his editors delude themselves that they could get away with it? It’s no wonder, that Tom Brokaw dreams of the Feds censoring the Internet.
On the fifth day of the rioting, April 13, Francis X. Clines was still quoting black Cincinnatians’ justifications for the violence that supposedly wasn’t occurring: “‘This wouldn’t have happened if they had listened to us in those years back then,’ said Mr. [Charles] Wimms, a 39-year-old construction worker, recalling that police treatment of black Cincinnatians—the issue that drove the wave of protest and vandalism by clusters of angry blacks this week—was also a principal issue in the 1968 violence.
“‘So now we have a new generation of young black men running the streets again to stir things up for what is right,’ he sadly contended.
The ostensible cause of the riot was Cincinnati police officer Steven Roach‘s fatal shooting, on April 7, of 19-year-old Timothy Thomas. Roach is white; Thomas was black.
Steven Roach, a five-year veteran, had an exemplary record. Note, too, that while there is a long history of murderous, white policemen, they routinely had a second, “throwaway” weapon to place by a dead black man.
Roach said he thought he saw Thomas reach for a weapon, but produced no weapon.
Timothy Thomas had 14 outstanding warrants, albeit for piddling misdemeanors like failing to fasten his seat belt. And yet, when told to stop, he ran.
Stupidity kills. The wonder is, that Thomas hadn’t gotten himself killed sooner—he had a history of running from police.
Timothy Thomas’ mother, Angela Leisure, said of the other 14 black men who had died in confrontations with local police, “These people might have been insignificant in y’all’s life, but they were significant in our lives.”
Note that Mrs. Leisure was emphasizing the “significance” to black Cincinnatians, of murderers, armed robbers, and cop-killers.
Mrs. Leisure also said, “People keep asking me, why did my son run. If you are an African male, you will run.”
As I said, stupidity kills.
The media, especially the Cincinnati media, emphasized that “15 black men” had been killed by Cincinnati police in the past five-and-a-half years, claiming that five of those men had been “unarmed.” Let’s look at these victims of racial profiling.
Poor Courtney Mathis, was only 12 years old, when the “unarmed” child was shot and killed by Officer Kevin Crayon.
Did I mention that Courtney Mathis was a car thief who murdered Officer Crayon?
Mathis hit the gas, while Officer Crayon clung to the side of the car for dear life. He managed to shoot the boy, just seconds before young Mathis managed to murder him, when Crayon’s head smashed like a melon, upon impact with another car.
(That Officer Crayon, like some other Cincinnati officers wounded or murdered in recent years, was himself black, has been of little interest to black “community leaders” and civilian supporters of the rioting.)
And then there is poor, unarmed Jeffrey Irons. During a shoplifting beef, career criminal Irons grabbed for one cop’s gun, and wounded another officer, before police shot him to death.
“Unarmed” motorist Michael Carpenter, was shot to death by officers Brent McCurley and Michael Miller. When the officers stopped Carpenter for an expired license plate, he refused to get out of the car, dragged Miller, and sought to back into McCurley.
Or consider Darryl C. Price, who was having a psychotic episode in the middle of traffic, and fatally struck his head on a metal plate on the ground, as he wrestled with officers.
Harvey Price had just hacked his girlfriend’s daughter’s head halfway off with an ax. When he lunged at cops with a knife, they shot him dead.
Career armed robber Jermaine Lowe had just crashed his car while being chased by police, and was firing on three officers, when he met his end.
Daniel Williams had just flagged down, and shot a female officer four times with a .357 magnum, before she had the temerity to shoot and kill him.
Lorenzo Collins had just escaped from a hospital psycho ward, and threatened several officers with a brick, when two of the threatened officers shot him dead. I know: Being a black man in “Amerika” is enough to drive anyone insane.
Having just sought to rob a store, Randy Black hit a policeman in the arm with a chunk of concrete, and then tried to kill him with a “nail-studded board.” The cop thought otherwise of Black’s plans.
Having just robbed a bank, James King was understandably reticent about complying with police demands to hand over his weapon. He aimed at them; they fired.
An officer answering a 911 call reporting a man acting in a threatening manner, and talking of having a gun, found himself staring down the barrel of Carey Tompkins‘ drawn gun. He shot Tompkins four times.
Alfred Pope had just “allegedly pistol-whipped, robbed, and shot at a group of other men in an apartment hallway,” when he went down in a blaze of glory, at taxpayer expense.
About to be handcuffed, Roger Owensby ran away. Following a struggle, which included his being sprayed with “a chemical irritant,” Owensby died of “mechanical asphyxiation.”
And Adam Wheeler, wanted on three felony warrants — two for “aggravated armed robbery, and one for attempted abduction”—screamed at officers coming to arrest him, “You want a war? You got a war!” Wheeler got his.

I could see someone having doubts about the deaths of Roger Owensby and Michael Carpenter. Officers Brent McCurley and Michael Miller had apparently been following Carpenter around,* looking for something to bust him on. McCurley and Miller should have been fired, but weren’t. McCurley got off with a mere reprimand, and “more training.”
And regarding Owensby, suspicion may be justified when someone dies of asphyxiation, without having any drugs in his system.
And yet, the most striking thing about “the 15 black men,” is that almost every one of them attacked police officers with a gun, a car, or some other weapon, or else ran when police had told him to stop.
Anyone attacking a police officer with a weapon, or attempting to take an officer’s weapon, deserves to die, immediately. And while no one deserves to die simply for running when ordered by police to stop, such a fool is in fact putting at risk his own life, and those of passersby and officers alike.
Since the rioting began, the Cincinnati media has downplayed the murder of Officer Kevin Crayon, and the shooting of the female police officer, and only the British newspaper, The
Telegraph, has so much as mentioned the 1997 murders of officers Daniel Pope and Ron Jeter. I guess they weren’t significant in anyone’s life.
*I later discovered that Cincinnati Enquirer reporter Barry Horstman had misrepresented the justified police shooting of Michael Carpenter, by writing as if officers Brent McCurley and Michael Miller had been stalking Carpenter. Horstman fed into the black, racist myth according to which white police officers hunt for innocent, black men. In fact, McCurley and Miller had determined that Carpenter had outstanding warrants, and were attempting to arrest him when Carpenter, who had gotten into his car, tried to run down one officer, and drag the other one to his death.

The media, especially the Cincinnati media, emphasized that “15 black men” had been killed by Cincinnati police in the past five-and-a-half years, claiming that five of those men had been “unarmed.” Let’s look at these victims of racial profiling.
Poor Courtney Mathis, was only 12 years old, when the “unarmed” child was shot and killed by Officer Kevin Crayon.
Did I mention that Courtney Mathis was a car thief who murdered Officer Crayon?
Mathis hit the gas, while Officer Crayon clung to the side of the car for dear life. He managed to shoot the boy, just seconds before young Mathis managed to murder him, when Crayon’s head smashed like a melon, upon impact with another car.
(That Officer Crayon, like some other Cincinnati officers wounded or murdered in recent years, was himself black, has been of little interest to black “community leaders” and civilian supporters of the rioting.)
And then there is poor, unarmed Jeffrey Irons. During a shoplifting beef, career criminal Irons grabbed for one cop’s gun, and wounded another officer, before police shot him to death.
“Unarmed” motorist Michael Carpenter, was shot to death by officers Brent McCurley and Michael Miller. When the officers stopped Carpenter for an expired license plate, he refused to get out of the car, dragged Miller, and sought to back into McCurley.
Or consider Darryl C. Price, who was having a psychotic episode in the middle of traffic, and fatally struck his head on a metal plate on the ground, as he wrestled with officers.
Harvey Price had just hacked his girlfriend’s daughter’s head halfway off with an ax. When he lunged at cops with a knife, they shot him dead.
Career armed robber Jermaine Lowe had just crashed his car while being chased by police, and was firing on three officers, when he met his end.
Daniel Williams had just flagged down, and shot a female officer four times with a .357 magnum, before she had the temerity to shoot and kill him.
Lorenzo Collins had just escaped from a hospital psycho ward, and threatened several officers with a brick, when two of the threatened officers shot him dead. I know: Being a black man in “Amerika” is enough to drive anyone insane.
Having just sought to rob a store, Randy Black hit a policeman in the arm with a chunk of concrete, and then tried to kill him with a “nail-studded board.” The cop thought otherwise of Black’s plans.
Having just robbed a bank, James King was understandably reticent about complying with police demands to hand over his weapon. He aimed at them; they fired.
An officer answering a 911 call reporting a man acting in a threatening manner, and talking of having a gun, found himself staring down the barrel of Carey Tompkins‘ drawn gun. He shot Tompkins four times.
Alfred Pope had just “allegedly pistol-whipped, robbed, and shot at a group of other men in an apartment hallway,” when he went down in a blaze of glory, at taxpayer expense.
About to be handcuffed, Roger Owensby ran away. Following a struggle, which included his being sprayed with “a chemical irritant,” Owensby died of “mechanical asphyxiation.”
And Adam Wheeler, wanted on three felony warrants — two for “aggravated armed robbery, and one for attempted abduction”—screamed at officers coming to arrest him, “You want a war? You got a war!” Wheeler got his.

I could see someone having doubts about the deaths of Roger Owensby and Michael Carpenter. Officers Brent McCurley and Michael Miller had apparently been following Carpenter around,* looking for something to bust him on. McCurley and Miller should have been fired, but weren’t. McCurley got off with a mere reprimand, and “more training.”
And regarding Owensby, suspicion may be justified when someone dies of asphyxiation, without having any drugs in his system.
And yet, the most striking thing about “the 15 black men,” is that almost every one of them attacked police officers with a gun, a car, or some other weapon, or else ran when police had told him to stop.
Anyone attacking a police officer with a weapon, or attempting to take an officer’s weapon, deserves to die, immediately. And while no one deserves to die simply for running when ordered by police to stop, such a fool is in fact putting at risk his own life, and those of passersby and officers alike.
Since the rioting began, the Cincinnati media has downplayed the murder of Officer Kevin Crayon, and the shooting of the female police officer, and only the British newspaper, The
Telegraph, has so much as mentioned the 1997 murders of officers Daniel Pope and Ron Jeter. I guess they weren’t significant in anyone’s life.
*I later discovered that Cincinnati Enquirer reporter Barry Horstman had misrepresented the justified police shooting of Michael Carpenter, by writing as if officers Brent McCurley and Michael Miller had been stalking Carpenter. Horstman fed into the black, racist myth according to which white police officers hunt for innocent, black men. In fact, McCurley and Miller had determined that Carpenter had outstanding warrants, and were attempting to arrest him when Carpenter, who had gotten into his car, tried to run down one officer, and drag the other one to his death.

I guess a correction is needed on the headline. I read in zh (comments) that the three arrested were released on $400 bond. So I looked up the story and yes--one of the thugs was OUT on bond--but for a previous crime--not these current charges--yet.)
So far, they have not been arraigned. Once that happens, we'll see.
