A singer from the TV show: "The Voice" was shot and murdered by a deranged fan. Her name was Christina Grimmie. It's a tragic story and very sad. Her killer's name was Kevin Loibl, he appeared to be a deranged fan.

Orlando police chief John Mina said this to the press:

"She was doing a meet-and-greet, just signing autographs and selling merchandise. This white male approached her and opened fire, striking her," Mina said. "We believe he came here to commit this crime."

They already had the perp, they didn't need to identify his race, so why did the police chief say "white male"? I'm going to speculate this cop had PC leanings and felt the need to editorialize about "white" killers of white women, probably because he has a vague awareness about the disproportionate number of negroes that kill white women so he wants to reinforce the myth that white men are exclusively responsible for these kind of murders.

What's interesting is the comment field, at least at first, when I first read the comments several debates had erupted about the cop and his "white male" statement.
It was the typical debate, a few rational people pointed out how unnecessary the comment was and the usual suspects (Afroracists, anybody black that is and white PC fanatics) called them racists. Never mind the "white male" comment WAS utterly unnecessary. When I went back in to the comments again, every comment about race had been deleted by MSN. There was not even a "comment deleted" message, they were just gone. Last time I went in another one had popped up 20 minutes previously but I don't know how long it will last.
