As America’s top military eye on Central America, Kelly is also warning that the recent spike in illegal immigrants moving from countries like Guatemala, El Salvador and Honduras across the U.S. border presents another level of threat. Those three countries, he noted, are all among the Top 5 nations worldwide in homicide rates, in part because of their rampant gang activity.
“Although there are a number of other countries I work with in Latin America and the Caribbean that are going in the same direction,” Kelly told Defense One, “the so-called Northern Triangle (Guatemala, El Salvador and Honduras) is far and away the worst off.”…

Quite frankly, this IS "Red Dawn" in America, invasion aided and abetted by the highest levels of the US government and ALL levels of the so-called Mainstream News Media.
Gov. Perry, ought to declare a "STATE OF INVASION" of the Texas republic and muster the Texas Militia. To aid the volunteers, he should ask the legislature to allocate funds for the purchase of ammunition (Standard NATO 5.56, 7.62, 9mm, .45ACP and SAAMI .40S&W) and have a bunch of Project Appleseeds (RWVA.org) training sessions to give the participants proper long range rifle training.
As Richard Lynn said on Vdare.com:
"I was put in charge of the training of new conscripts. One of the things I had to do was to teach them how to use a rifle. I had never found any difficulty in this, but I was surprised to find that the new conscripts found this very hard. Generally they failed to hit the target at all. I used to give them a demonstration of how it was done, and the sergeant would bring the target and show it to them with five neat little holes in the bull’s eye. They would gather round with exclamations of “Cor, blimey, look at the officer’s”! I realised later that this apparently simple task must be g loaded."
Then allow the militia to patrol. The Democrats will scream like they did during the Reagan years about El Salvador, but, as Patrick Swazy said in Red Dawn after executing a Russian invader: "BECAUSE WE LIVE HERE."
