For a shoplifter,TAKE-IY-A is the right name for her.

YEP. I guess in these cases better to just let them go. I understand you are giving tacit approval and countenancing crime but the aftermath is much worse than two bottles of liquor. Stupid woman yes. Pregnant too.
jerry pdx
Daily Mail article said she was "pregnant" or a "mom" 20 times in the article, counting photo captions and the headline. Couldn't stop reminding us.
Being pregnant or a mom didn't make her vehicle any less deadly.
We had a similar case here in Portland some years back. A 40 yr. old black woman named Kendra James tried to take off in her car during a routine traffic stop and a cop shot her. However, in this case there wasn't a cop trying to block the car with his body so it wasn't attempted murder, just an unwise escape attempt. I'm not in favor of shooting people for trying to escape so that was a questionable shooting but if you try to run somebody over, you aren't a victim. I do wonder about the cop using his, or her, body to block the car, not a wise thing to do at a traffic stop. Even with the walk sign on I get nervous crossing the street.
HEBOON GETS ARRESTED AFTER FERRIS STATE SHOOTING WEDNESDAY;TWO COHORT NEGRO PERPS GET AWAY,MAKING MALIK TAYLOR THE DUMBEST NIG IN THIS CRIME.
BIG RAPIDS, Mich. (WOOD) — Deputies say they have charged one suspect and are still seeking two more after an off-campus apartment shooting near Ferris State University.
The Mecosta County Sheriff’s Office said Wednesday that Malik Taylor, of Norton Shores, had been charged in 77th District Court with discharge of a firearm in or at a building, assault with a dangerous weapon, felon in possession of a firearm, felon in possession of ammunition and three counts of felony firearm. There were seven counts in total.
His bond was set at $125,000, deputies said.
The sheriff’s office said it was still seeking information about two other suspects in the shooting.
The Mecosta County Sheriff's Office requested information on the two people circled, who are suspects in the Aug. 26 shooting near Ferris State University.
Anyone with information is asked to contact the Mecosta County Sheriff’s Office at 231.592.0150.
The shooting happened around 3:20 a.m. on Aug. 26 in the parking lot, with hundreds of people present, according to the sheriff’s office.
A woman was shot in the leg, and deputies said they found over 40 shell casings.

"Being pregnant or a mom didn't make her vehicle any less deadly."
So maybe the cop should not have stood in front of the vehicle? She was only suspected of shoplifting. No suggestion she was armed or otherwise dangerous. Shooting her to death seems like an extremely bad outcome. Bad enough to call into question the way the situation was handled by the cops.
Plenty of videos of stores being ransacked while employees and even security people look on and do nothing. And here this woman is shot to death while in her car outside the story. Last I heard she was only suspected of shoplifting. Of course her behavior shows consciousness of guilt.
Don't know what the inquiry will find, but standing in front of her car and then having to use deadly force does not seem like great police work in a shoplifting case.
Cops give up pursuits all the time b/c it is deemed too dangerous to continue. Seems another course of action was possible here.
There will be a lawsuit. The fact she had kids makes that almost a certainty. It is also likely to greatly increase any monetary award or settlement.
Of course it seems she was low class (to be kind about it) and her passing is no loss to society. But regarding the circumstances of her death, that is neither here nor there.
And what about the outstanding warrant for her arrest, EAHILF? And what about her having removed her license plates, EAHILF? And what about her having been part of a mob action, EAHILF?
The fact that so many corporate suits have ordered their employees to permit black thugs to ransack their stores is counter-relevant to the case of cops. Are you saying that cops must now submit to corporate suits who are utter cowards re black criminals, or who outright support them? What a stupid, morally myopic attitude!
Great point,Jerry.Media smothers us in black motherhood trying to incite. So far--amazingly--riots haven't happened.Or maybe NOT so amazingly. The powers that be,thought it wasn't the right time to go do some free shopping at Walmart--the powers that be,including the Biden White House, blm and media.
A puzzler of WHY there's no reaction.Maybe they're waiting for a cop ID(race).Maybe they know it was a black cop already.
This case would SEEM more explosive than floyd's OD,but it's blacks and commies,so go figure.

"And what about the outstanding warrant for her arrest"
Since they had not gotten her out of the vehicle and ID'd her, that is totally irrelevant. Right? The cops on the scene did not know who she was.
"And what about her having removed her license plates"
People are not normally shot for doing that either. That is not a violent crime that poses a threat to the public. So standing in front of her car b/c she had removed her license plate and then shooting her to death would also be seen as a bad outcome and questionable police work. By most people anyway.
If she had removed her plates (?) then that is also another marker that may indicate she was guilty of shoplifting. Were stolen goods found in her car? Anyway all of that changes nothing about what looks like a bad police outcome for a shoplifting case.
"cops must now submit to corporate suits"
Cops should behave reasonably in whatever circumstances. Standing in front of a vehicle and then having/choosing to use deadly force on a woman (only) suspected of shoplifting does not seem like good police work. Most people would think so and concede that anyway.
"What a stupid, morally myopic attitude!"
It's not "stupid" or "myopic" to expect cops to behave reasonably and appropriately given whatever circumstances.
It's a mistake to give carte blanche to cops. Or not question, investigate, and maybe hold them accountable for an outcome as bad as this. Hard to think of a worse outcome actually.
This may end up being rather expensive for that city.

So maybe the cop should not have stood in front of the vehicle?
Sigh...Eahilf, you saw that one sentence and flew off the handle, you certainly are touchy. If you had read the rest of my comment you would have read this:
"I do wonder about the cop using his, or her, body to block the car, not a wise thing to do at a traffic stop".
You call people out quite often for not thoroughly reading articles, perhaps you should follow your own advice.
She didn't get shot for shoplifting, that's entirely irrelevant because she escalated the situation to attempted murder. If you want to argue the cop created the situation by putting his body in harms way, that's fine but consider that every time a cop is out on the street he's potentially "in harms way". I was actually in agreement with you that perhaps in this situation a cop didn't use the most sense and perhaps there are questions about dept. training and procedures but it doesn't change what she did.
Wherever blacks are and whatever blacks do,it's expensive for that city.
Remember, police are not the problem, black sociopaths are--and Takiya is one of them.A sociopath makes decisions without considering the ramifications.
We wouldnt need 80% of our police force if not for blacks--more expense.
Jails,prisons,guards--more expense.
Prices at your local stores would be lower without black shoplifting--more expense.
Rents would go down without blacks ruining property-more expense.
Federal deficit would go down without blacks(Mex also).
Too many examples to mention.

Speaking of comment comprehension, no one said she was shot for shoplifting. It was a bad police outcome for a suspected shoplifting case. That's the point. A matter of appropriate police behavior and handling in those circumstances. So yes the shoplifting part, which is the reason the cops confronted her, is obviously relevant and important. That was the context. Also important is whatever info they got before from the store employees. Was she armed? Did she threaten anyone?
Would like to see the bodycam footage before deciding about "attempted murder". Whether given how events unfolded the cop was justified in using deadly force. But that is separate from the general handling of the matter leading up to that, including whether he should have been standing in front of the car.
No one said police were or are "the" or a general problem. Maybe their handling of this case was not appropriate. Cops do make mistakes. Since what started out as a suspected shoplifting case ended with a dead woman, it's natural to wonder if things could or should have been done differently. That's all.
If it exists bodycam footage should be made public eventually.
It's a mistake to give cops a blank check. Many of them showed their true colors during BLM and the covid lockdowns, especially the latter. They served the regime.
We need more cops, judges and politicians to enforce the law with blacks.Deterrents don't work with blacks, but being too lenient is not the way either.

(abc17)During a Wednesday afternoon news conference, family attorney Sean Walton said police could release the video at any time. Police said they would release the body camera footage on Friday.

VIDEO OF SHOOTING RELEASED.
GRA:
ABC has this as its second story, two White cops with one cop getting in front of the vehicle with gun drawn. The first cop told her to "get out,get out now."Some expletives and within 15 seconds, she's pulling forward.
The CPD will NOT release the names of the two cops, saying "there was an assault attempted on them"--whatever THAT has to do with it,but abc wasn't too over the top, pushing for riots.nbc was unavailable.
The faces are blurred. It takes 23 seconds total as the second cop comes over to assist.
