Amish Gone Wild in Prince George’s County? Two Raceless Riots at Friendly High School Connected to Off-Campus Murder of Student, the Fourth Murder of a PGC Public School Student Since August

The reader who kindly sent this writes,

The high school in question is located in Accokeek, Maryland.

Used to be a lily-white area over 30 years ago. My Uncle George used to live in Accokeek.

No longer.

Any surprise why a "melee" (not to be confused with a "fracas") erupted?
Could it be....

.... Amish gone wild?
Nowadays, Friendly High School’s demographics breaks down as follows:

Ethnicity This School State Average
Black, not Hispanic 92% 38%

Hispanic 4% 10%

Asian/Pacific Islander 2% 6%

American Indian/Alaskan Native <1% <1% White, not Hispanic <1% 46%

Possibly nearly one percent white students? Clearly, there is insufficient diversity at FHS!

The standard, racial socialist talking point for “explaining” away black crime, is “poverty.” Not only is that talking point pure garbage in general, but black-dominated Prince George’s County is one of the wealthiest counties in the nation, and here as elsewhere, well-to-do blacks have much higher crime rates than poor whites and Asians.

The blog item by Matt Zapotosky that follows is very helpful, in terms of Zapotosky doing the research to recount the three other murders of PGC public school students. However, given the politics of diversity, he had to dull the hooks of a naturally engrossing story.

When the police speak of two riots being caused by “tensions” following a murder, they are attempting to say nothing. But it’s impossible to say “X” caused riots following a murder, without making a dramatic statement, no matter how much mush your mouth is filled with. The police are saying that the riots were in response to the murder. So, let’s punch-up Zapotosky’s dulled-down lede:

Two riots that erupted at Friendly High School in Prince George’s County Tuesday morning, are suspected by police as having been in response to the fourth murder of a student in the Prince George’s County School system since August.

There are three things we can be pretty sure of:

1. Some of the students who rioted are convinced they know who Marcus Antonio Jones’ killer is;
2. At least two of the killings (including the one identified by PGC police) are gang-related; and
3. None of the killings has so far been solved because of the “no snitch rule,” whereby blacks (and in the murder of gang-banger Eliezer Benjamin Reyes, browns) who know who the killer is have refused to help the police.

In 1950, the worst slums in America didn't have this sort of routine, murderous violence.

Perhaps 10 of the 27 authorized reader comments were of value, which is a pretty good batting average for the Washington Post.

The President said in his inaugural speech, "Our journey is not complete until all our children, from the streets of Detroit to the hills of Appalachia to the quiet lanes of Newtown, know that they are cared for, and cherished, and always safe from harm." Time for that journey to begin here in his backyard. We must demand it.

according to the student rumor mill, it WAS related to emotions associated with a popular, well-liked student who was allegedly (which means it happened in high-school speak) murdered as a result of a setup from ANOTHER FHS student. regardless of whether or not it was true, that is the story the students believe.

A lot of parents in PG County are too busy trying to live above their means, and to keep up with the Joneses! Stop charishing a big house and a car that you can't afford, and put the time and resources into your children! I live in PG, and I see it everyday, and my spouse is a PG County public school teacher. Parents, please teach your kids how to be respectful and civil. If you choose not to, there's a price to pay for your ignorance....

I have lived in Prince George's County for more than 20 years, and at this point I have no faith that PGCPS can either educate my child OR keep him safe during the course of a school day. The test scores don't lie and neither do the crime statistics...so I pay for private school until we can move.

Mr. Coleman, PGCPS Spokesperson, obviously does not spend any time in the schools. The children run the schools because the administrators want to keep their suspension records down so they allow the children to get away with being disrespectful, incorrigible, and just plain BAD. No one wants to substitute, or even teach in the PG schools. There are a lot of students in the high schools who would be better off in the work force because they are too old, and there are others that need to be in an alternative school, then you have those who need to be wards of the court system because obviously their PARENTS can't control them. I would love to see Mr. Coleman and the other folks in the school board office, including the super and his posse, to spend one week in the schools beginning with the elementary, then middle, and finally high school. ONE WEEK AT EACH LEVEL. You need to take the blinders off and get real because there are BAD EGGS destroying the education of GOOD EGGS. I carried my lunch to work for years and wore old clothes so that my two children could go to private school with children who were of the same mindset...set on education.

We tie the pricipals hands because then cannot suspend the students. If they finally assualt enough students they send them to another school to start the process all over. The sad part you get kids that were good see what's happening and they all start acting up because no one gets suspended. Start suspending and utting the parents out and you will see things change. You can'thelp everyone.

Brawl at Friendly High School thought to be connected to student’s slaying
By Matt Zapotosky
Washington Post Crime Blog

A sprawling melee erupted at Friendly High School in Prince George’s County Tuesday morning, and investigators believe it might have sprung from “tensions” over the fatal, off-campus shooting of a sophomore there this past weekend, authorities said.
In the end, police charged three people, including two Friendly High students, with second-degree assault in connection with the fight, said Lt. William Alexander, a Prince George’s County police spokesman. He said one student, who was 18, will be charged as an adult, and so will a 21-year-old relative of a student who was also involved in the fracas. The third combatant, also a student, will be charged as a juvenile, Alexander said.

Detectives have not yet made any arrests in the slaying of 16-year-old Marcus Antonio Jones, who was fatally shot about midnight Saturday as he walked to a car in the 7700 block of Webster Lane in Fort Washington, Alexander said. He said detectives believe Jones was leaving a house party — well-supervised by adults and apparently devoid of drugs or alcohol — when he was killed.

Detectives are still probing a motive in the case, and, “reportedly, there were no problems inside the party,” Alexander said. The fight Tuesday at the school, he said, merely stemmed from “tensions” about the killing.

“We think it’s related to just emotions running high following the murder of a 16-year-old over the weekend,” Alexander said.

School officials said they dispatched grief counselors to Friendly High following Jones’s slaying, and those counselors and additionally security would remain there throughout the week. Police also announced they would hold a community meeting at Friendly HighWednesday night to discuss developments in Jones’s slaying.

The trouble at Friendly Tuesday started about 7:20 a.m., Alexander said, when officers were sent to the school for a report of a brawl involving as many as 10 people. [What're you waiting for? Why were any young scholars even in the building that early? Early-morning cramming in the school library? No, they were wolfing down "free" breakfasts!] When they arrived, Alexander said, school security personnel had largely ["largely"] broken up the fight, and those involved were dispersing. Then another fight broke out, Alexander said.

The three charged with second-degree assault were involved in the second fight, which occurred outside the school, Alexander said. He said he could not immediately name those charged as adults because detectives were still preparing paperwork on their cases.

Police also charged two other students on unrelated matters — one who was caught with drugs fallin out of his pocket, and the other who was disorderly with police and who possibly assaulted an officer, Alexander said.

Jones’s slaying marks the fourth killing of a student in the Prince George’s County School system since August. In that month, 17-year-old Amber Stanley, a student at Charles H. Flowers High School, was shot to death inside her family’s home in Kettering. The next month, 18-year-old Marckel Norman Ross was shot to death as he walked to Central High School. Both cases remain unsolved, though police say they have strong leads.
Last month, 14-year-old Eliezer Benjamin Reyes, a student at an alternative [Read: gang-banger] school in Largo, was killed in what police called a gang-related murder. Police have charged two suspects in that case.

Briant Coleman, a Prince George’s County Schools spokesman, said the slayings are “really troublesome,” though he noted they have all occurred off school grounds.

“Our schools are safe,” Coleman said. “We need the public’s help to ensure that when something happens in the community, that they immediately notify the police department so that those incidents do not trickle [flood] over into the schoolhouse.

This item has been updated to correct the date of the community meeting.

The MSM honestly must believe that the general population are complete idiots. Sadly, they are correct for the most part. Very few people actually question what they see in a news story after it has been carefully sanitized by the Liberal agenda.

I watch CNN a lot in order to keep up with liberal hypocrisy and lies. You NEVER hear a single negative word about blacks in the liberal controlled media. They are always portrayed as victims and anyone who says different are blanketed under the heading of 'racist'.

However, CNN has no problem whatsoever in calling white people evil doing racist monsters. It doesn't matter what the circumstances are. If there is a crime involving a black and a white, then obviously, according to them, the white guy was being racist. It doesn't even matter if the white guy was attacked for no reason whatsoever by some black guy or more often-several black guys. They always seem to imply that maybe the white guy said some sort of racist thing that set them off, or in some cases they simply blame poverty for the actions of the blacks.

On the other side of the coin, blacks are NEVER portrayed as racist even if they specifically target white people for robbery or beatings. It's always 'a random crime' or in many cases, they just omit the race of the perpetrators.

CNN was even complaining this week that the highest appointed members of government were mostly 'white men'. They actually said that. "WHITE men". Can you imagine if someone said they felt certain organizations had too many BLACK men in it? They would be shunned, fired from their job and likely sent to prison.

American society as a whole seems to either be in a state of denial on the realities of black on white crime and the proliferation of black racists and black racist groups that only exist to cause harm to 'whitey'. The next generation of kids who are just getting out of high school now are so brainwashed by the liberal lies they are taught in school that most are likely beyond logical discussion on race relations.

Bottom line: Diversity DOES NOT WORK! Everything happening in America, and in the world in general, proves this. Where there is diversity, there is conflict. Where there is conflict, there is violence. From what I can see however, America is the only country in the world who openly encourages an ethnic minority group to commit crimes against the ethic majority. Blacks are given preferential rights such as affirmative action and extra 'chances' in the legal system(Yes, I know blacks, per capita, have more inmates than whites. However, that is even after they are given extra chances and preferential treatment in the court system. They still commit so much more crime than whites that they are still over represented in prison despite the slap on the wrist they are usually given for their first through tenth offenses)

In conclusion, less and less people bother to actually do research on a news story they see in the MSM. they believe the propaganda that blacks are all innocent victims of poverty and racism when in fact the opposite is generally true. In fact, most blacks are extremely racist and actively seek to harm white people as much as they can, either directly through crime or less directly by claiming racism every time they caught doing said crimes.
