Three bLACK killers arrested for shootings/murders on local chicago highways the past three years (none of them mention filthy streets or graffiti as motive or cause)

[My google-minder buried this item. I had missed the cutoff on monday at midnight, so I hit "draft," in order to post it the next day. However, I was out all day, running errands, when I got home I took a nap for five-and-a-half hours, and when I got up it was 12:48 a.m. today. Thus, I missed an entire day of posting. After several hours of internet schmoozing, I started posting today, including this item. When I checked how much I'd posted, I saw that my minder had changed the date of this item to yesterday. The four items I'd posted today had many times the hits of the one my minder buried. And so, I am re-posting it.

Peter Brimelow used to do that to me sometimes at VDARE. He could change the time of a blog posting, and so he would occasionally backdate my blog articles to before the time of previously posted blog articles by colleagues, so that nobody would read mine.

The first few years that I wrote for him, Peter didn't engage in any dirty tricks against me, but as time wore on, he pulled more and more such stunts. The first three reports I wrote for him ran from 3,300-10,400 words, and he wouldn't change a word. But then he and Kevin deAnna (surely with Peter's blessing) began increasingly ruining my manuscripts, apparently, to make it look as if I was an incompetent writer (Kevin used the pseudonyms "James J. Kilpatrick" at VDARE, and "Gregory Hood" at most other places). I've referred to this elsewhere as the death of 1,000 cuts. It got so bad that I would sometimes refer, in my phone conversations with Peter, to "the butchering process." Peter would then interject, "The editing process."

At the last VDARE Christmas party, in 2019, Peter introduced me to the crowd with, "Nicholas' work requires editing." My work didn't require any editing. I would go over each manuscript 50-100 times before submitting it. Meanwhile, in a comp book of Kevin's VDARE columns, that Peter was giving as a gift to donors, Peter asserted that Kevin's columns didn't require any editing. What a lie! Kevin's girlfriends used to edit his work for him. (Note that the book said that it was published by Kevin Johnson's counter-currents publishing. Why would Kevin Johnson publish a VDARE book? He didn't. He served as a front for Peter. Peter had done the same thing with the National Policy Institute and Washington Summit Publishers, with Richard Spencer serving as his figurehead. Peter would invest in organizations, in order to spread his influence, with them serving as fronts. As soon as Louis R. Andrews, ny NPI publisher died in late december, 2011, Peter took over NPI (meaning he then financed it), and installed Richard Spencer as his figurehead, and had him send the book-length report, The State of White America-2007, of which I was the principal author, with economist Edwin S. Rubenstein and historian Robert J. Stove, down the memory hole. Peter and his siamese twin, Jared Taylor, had apparently decided that it was urgent that my influence be curtailed as much as possible. Thus, they also refused to engage me to speak at their conferences and webinars, though Jared teased me by suggesting that he would have me speak at his 2011 shindig.)

Why am I criticizing Kevin? We used to be very friendly. Then he inexplicably turned on me, and stared daggers at me, when Peter had the writers present stand in the middle of the room (Kevin, John Derbyshire, and me), where the donors present applauded us at the 2019 Christmas party. The donors must have later scratched their heads, when Peter's put-down of me sunk in. I later determined that Kevin had stolen material from a 2012 manuscript of mine, where I wrote of blacks having a "license to kill" White cops, and White cops having "a duty to die." I had assumed at the time, that the phrases were missing, due to Peter's usual vandalism. However, eight years later, I found that Kevin had stolen my work, and put it in a 2013 essay of his as "Gregory Hood" at Counter-Currents. So, if anything, I should have been staring daggers at him!]

"(chicago sun times) chicago - illinois state police say three men from chicago have been arrested and charged with first-degree murder in connection with two separate expressway shootings on the city’s south side.

"The backstory:

"the first shooting happened may 21, 2022, around 8:10 p.m. on the northbound exit ramp of I-94 at 47th street. officers responded to find 27-year-old Darren Jackson had been shot. she was taken to a hospital and pronounced dead.

"following an investigation, state police identified 33-year-old Demario Bass as the suspect. he was taken into custody on wednesday, by members of the fbi’s fugitive task force. a day later, the Cook county state’s attorney’s office approved a charge of first-degree murder. Bass remains in custody pending a court appearance.

"the second shooting happened more recently, on july 11, 2024, just after 5 p.m. near 75th street on northbound i-94. a passenger in a vehicle was shot and later died at a hospital.

"after months of investigating, police identified two suspects: 30-year-old Demetrius Shields and 25-year-old Tyler Perkins. Shields was arrested on april 11. he is charged with first-degree murder and aggravated discharge of a firearm.

"Perkins was arrested a day later in Houston, texas, and later extradited back to illinois. his charges were approved on thursday and mirror those filed against Shields.

"all three men are currently being held."

GRA: I dropped by the prison (pretend), and asked the killer coons about the study by Ludwig.

GRA (to Shields): I read you the story. Did graffiti on neighborhood buildings play any part of why you went shooting people on the expressway?

Shields: HAHAHAHAHA--sheeeeet. I PAINTED some of that (bleep) on those walls, cracka. I'd like to spray paint your blood on 'em--after I kill you.

GRA: That's what I thought, nigga.

None of the three gave Ludwig's theory as an excuse publicly (or in my fictionalized interview).

N.S.: This reminds me of a set of reports several years ago, that I forgot to post, from longtime contributor A.L., from Joliet, on a highway killer, whose name I'm unsure of. A.L. also sent me material on racist, black "I-57 killers." I need to publish, or re-publish that stuff.
