The Italians have such a low birth rate. The government imports many Africans to take care of the elderly and that does not sit well with the Italian population. There is so much resentment toward Africans who hawk their pirated goods on the street. Many of the pizza makers are from the middle east. Italy is such a beautiful country. It is tragic that the Italian government is allowing third world infestation. It seems similar to what this country has done to us with illegal immigration and Section 8.

Italy needs to offer a right of return to the Italian diasopora in the U.S., Canada, Australia, Brazil and Argentina.

These people protesting probably reflect the true feelings of most Italian citizens, I wonder where they were during the Amanda Knox hysteria? Of course it's actually still going on so why don't these people get behind her? I'd be curious to ask the protesters how they feel about Amanda and the real killer: African immigrant Rudy Guede. I suspect the Italian media is playing the situation much the way the US manipulates the American public re immigration, using stories like Amanda Knox to distract away from the real hard issues. A young American girl becomes a sacrificial lamb in order to serve the underlying financial interests that rely on unfettered immigration. Jerry PDX
