When Obama invited riot leaders to the White House on November 16, he told them to “stay the course.” They took his advice to heart.

FERGUSON, Mo. — Two St. Louis County Police officers were shot outside the Ferguson Police Department early Thursday, according to acting Ferguson police chief Lt. Col. Al Eickhoff.
Bob Hoehn, a KSDK-TV photographer, reported two police officers were loaded into ambulances. One was taken immediately to Barnes-Jewish Hospital, a Level 1 trauma center and the largest hospital in Missouri. It is the teaching hospital for Washington University School of Medicine. The other was initially treated on the scene.
In a news conference outside the hospital around 2 a.m. CT, St. Louis County Police Chief Jon Belmar said one officer was shot in the shoulder and one was shot in the face. Both officers were conscious, he said.

Interesting how the victim was taken to Barnes-Jewish hospital. It is reported to be a level 1 trauma center and a teaching hospital.Often the hospitals are either Jewish or Catholic, in once thriving, contributing neighborhoods. All the contributions that have gone before us seem to be unraveling before our eyes. How many hospitals were established by blacks where every one could benefit?
I pray that both police officers survive and recover fully.
I also pray that their would-be murderer gets justice soon.
