minneapolis police chief, Brian O'Hara, walks a tightrope when answering Margaret Brennan's leading questions on face (the commie) nation; ice spokesman Bovino gets third-degree on cnn
GRA: Margaret Brennan actually asked a few good questions, but they were obviously aimed at discounting the dhs/ice view of the Pretti incident.
O'Hara said he had no information about the details of the shooting, because "the feds have locked it down."
Brennan asked if extra ammo was found with Pretti--and would it matter, in respect, to the legality of the shooting.
"again, we have been closed off from the investigation by the feds, but if that were true--and as long as the person didn't use the weapon or ammo for criminal purposes, that would not justify the shooting."
I've seen some reports (Breitbart) analyzing the video, where ice yells, "gun"--a shot is fired (unknown by whom) and then several more shots are heard.
That last paragraph is from Breitbart.
Basically, O'Hara asked for understanding that the police department of 600 is overwhelmed and cannot handle the situations that are developing on a daily basis--that they are on the outside, looking in--more or less.
P.S. There is video of an ice agent running from Pretti with (what's described by cbs) as Pretti's gun. Reports I've read, are that after that gun confiscation, Pretti reached, as if to pull another weapon and was shot.
On cnn, Greg Bovino was interviewed by Dana Bash and deferred on details, but the usual "Us vs. Them" attitude by Bash was prevalent.
"'we see his gun was removed by dhs and after that he was shot,' asserted Bash.
"Bovino replied, 'we do not know that. we hear 'gun, gun, gun'--which is evidence that in a riot situation..."
"'so just SEEING a gun warranted the shooting."
"'in a riot situation after he assaulted a fed officer. let's let the investigation tell us.
Bash and Bovino argued about the meaning of the word "assault"--as in "assaulting an officer."
Neither budged from his position.

BILL O'REILLY RETURNS TO YOUTUBE,SAYS HE HAD "INTERNAL BLEEDING CAUSED BY HEREDITY"
GRA:He DOES look healthier today and he threw some punches at Kash Patel to go after Walz for allowing what's happening in Minnesota.
"If you can't do the job,get out,"O'Reilly said
in a loud voice.
He's feeling better.

"I'm back and I plan to go out on my shield. It's(the condition)not that bad,but I'm going to stay on until I'm in the grave."
At the end,he sounded like the O'Reilly of 20 years ago.
"I'm sick of these crooked politicians and from now on,I'm going to name names and get rough."
I'll post anything "rough" as it happens.

O'REILLY RETURNS(CONTINUED)
(the wrap)Bill O’Reilly returned to his “No Spin News” show on Monday after announcing last week that he was stepping back to deal with an undisclosed “malady,” giving a fiery take on the crisis in Minnesota that he called an “open rebellion.”
In a column posted on his website billoreilly.com, O’Reilly disclosed that his four-day hospitalization was due to “a hereditary condition involving internal bleeding” that “took me down temporarily.” He did not give further details on his Monday show, saying only “I’m going out on my shield, so you’re not keeping me down until I’m in the grave.”
The former Fox News host was visibly more fired up than usual, adding, “I had to be on today because we are witnessing one of the most important stories in my entire lifetime of 50 years in journalism — the Minnesota rebellion.”
The 76-year-old gravely added that “I’m going to tell you the truth. And I don’t care if you don’t like the truth or you don’t want to hear the truth. You don’t want to hear it, blast me off right now, because I’m coming right at you.”
Then he got to it: “This is a disgrace, what is happening there in Minnesota. There is no excuse for this, and there are remedies to this situation. … You’ve got an open rebellion. You’ve got the governor of a state — [Tim] Walz — who is basically saying, ‘We’re not only not obeying immigration law, stated law passed by Congress, but we’re not going to protect the federal agents assigned to enforce the federal law.’'
GRA:As I said,on the previous post,he was pi**ed today--not going through the motions. For how long? We'll see.
