JETS' LEGEND,JOE NAMATH RE-RETIRES AFTER WITNESSING TEAM'S DESTRUCTION TODAY VS NEW ENGLAND

(GRA)New England scored early and often and even the re-appearance of 82 year old,wheelchair quarterback, Joe Namath,for a couple series,couldn't spark the team Sunday afternoon.

The Jets started 24 year old,Brady Cook, and the Pats raced off to a 28-3 lead. Namath was inserted at that point,but the running game and the two passes Namath threw,led to zero points and New England continued to pile up the numbers on a horrible Jets' defense.

Namath was replaced and announced a final retirement from the nfl--after providing heart grabbing excitement,in comebacks,early in the year.

"Broadway Joe" had entered 6 games started by free agent bust,Justin Fields and led the team to wins in all 6. But his three specialized wheelchairs were vandalized and not replaced until last week--and by then,the Jets were out of the playoffs.

"It was fun and felt good to make some big plays,but the team needs a younger player. Maybe Richard Todd is available. I bid you all--a fond farewell."

(Breitbart)According to court documents out of Attleborough District Court, defensive tackle Christian Barmore is facing one count of assault and battery on a family/household member.

The charge stems from an alleged incident on August 8 in which a woman with whom Barmore was in a relationship claims that she got into an argument with the former Alabama star over the temperature setting in his room, and over food.

According to documents,after grabbing his girlfriend's phone,he proceeded to grab her and throw the woman on the floor. She then left and took a Patriots' provided car to Delaware.

Barmore's first court appearance will be five days before the Super Bowl.
