I see the press raked her over the coals for Bardot being opposed to moslems pouring into france. "Racist," they called her today, for marrying Le Pen and supporting Marine Le Pen in elections.
Le Pen called her, "a great Frenchwoman."

She did speak out against islam invading france. i didn't even hear about it, but the french government fined her and all she did was tell the truth. Media didn't really give her a lot of coverage for her anti-islam stance, mostly it was about her animal rights activism. Whatever else you might say about her, she at least had the courage to say what other people didn't about islam.

You say, “The French actress’ legacy is marred by controversies including racist, islamophobic and homophobic ideologies.” But Bardot wasn’t “racist,” or “phobic” towards islam, homosexuals, or self-styled “transgenders.” Her patriotism and sexual normalcy were the proudest parts of her legacy. But you are racist, treasonous, and hate normalcy.
