18-year-old rookie, Cooper Flagg, is breaking "youngest to..." records, set by black supremacist race hoaxer, lebron james

"(cbs sports) a day after becoming the youngest player in nba history to record 10 assists in a loss to the lakers, no. 1 overall pick Cooper Flagg made some more history in a 114-100 win against the clippers saturday night. Flagg became the youngest player in nba history to record at least 35 points. Flagg did so at 18 years and 343 days, which is five days faster than when LeBron James did it in his rookie season.

"Flagg also did it more efficiently than James did, going 13 of 22 from the floor (59.1%), while adding eight rebounds and two assists. he was aggressive from the opening tip, racking up 21 of his 35 points in the first half.

"things came easy for Flagg in the first half, as James Harden's level of defense was minimal at best, and non-existent on most occasions. the clippers [sic] orange-red jerseys were actually quite fitting for the occasion, as their defense looked like traffic cones out there as Flagg knifed his way to the iron for countless layups with minimal rim pressure.

GRA: The kid is pretty good--at 18. Wait until (if) he gets an outside jump shot.

It certainly helped that he was playing against a team led by notoriously defense challenged james harden, but all players pad their offensive stats against bad defensive teams and Flagg's production started blowing up when he moved to his natural small forward position. Coach kidd was trying to make him Doncic 2.0 by having him play point guard his first games but you could see it was restricting his game. Problem was most of his focus was on ball security, which he did reasonably well, he wasn't a turnover machine, but it's not his natural position. Funny thing this year the two top rookie of the year candidates are White guys, Flagg and his Duke teammate Kon Kneuppel, who is starting for his team and averaging about 18 points a game while being very efficient and looking like a veteran out on the court. Kneuppel isn't the athlete Flagg is and doesn't have his defensive impact but he's smart and very skilled. Barring injury, one of them will likely win it. Both will have long successful careers in the NBA.

I automatically compare Flagg to Larry Bird--nowhere near the athlete Flagg is--but clutch as they come and just watching him brought a smile to this fan's face. His steal from Isaiah Thomas in 1987(I believe)was an all time thrill for me.

I barely have heard of Kneuppel, but I'll take your word on his talent.
