The father of one of my coworkers had worked with Nobel laureate Jack Kilby at Texas Instruments.  Jack Kilby was the co-inventor of the integrated circuit and the pocket calculator.   David was my coworker.  His father owned a prototype of the original Kilby calcutlator.

All of those mentioned above were or are European Americans except for Dr. Macbeth.  He was a Canuck.
