Now from that info--and Idaho is still a White area--though you should bet on black 95% of the time--and blacks love to start fires and call the fire department and shoot at them--I'll go with Whitey here as the perp(s).

I'm still betting on black, GRA. I have an old friend who always says, "Always bet on black." Plus, the "reports" that, "The shooters 'blended in' with other people," don't impress me no way, no how. That just sounds like a stupid media trick.
Reports the shooter was found "dead,Jim." He either is a contortionist or le got him--"gunshots to the back of the head,"say late rumors.

Kootenai County Commissioner Bruce Mattare told reporters that the attack on first responders was "senseless and tragic beyond words."
"This is not who we are as a community," Mattare said, adding that Coeur d'Alene was "a place that's comprised of caring people."

(WAPO)Authorities have confirmed the identity of the suspect in the firefighter ambush as 20-year-old Wess Roley, according to a law enforcement official.
Investigators believe the suspect intentionally set a brush fire on Canfield Mountain on Sunday before opening fire on responding firefighters, killing two and injuring a third.

Looks White to me,in one photo,but in others there's a darker tint--somewhat mex,but not quite.

abc noise did not show a close up pic of Wess Roley,but an image of him(a drawing)--with a tiny photo inside the sketch--of Roley in a bullfighter's outfit.
His grandfather spoke perfectly fine,non-mex sounding,English,but said he "felt sorry for the victims more than Wess."
