N.S.: Years ago, the snooty denizens of Frisco decreed that no one may call their city, "Frisco." Just imagine paying through-the-roof taxes, and getting n municipal services for them. There's a solution for that, short of leaving: Go on tax strike!
Charles Schwab's $26 billion deal to acquire TD Ameritrade will result in the relocation of its San Francisco-based headquarters to Dallas-Fort Worth, reported The Wall Street Journal. Schwab gave no timeframe on the transition to Westlake, a suburb of Dallas-Fort Worth, Texas. www.zerohedge.com |

From what I read SF isn't a great city anymore.
New lyrics might be in order to a liberal song from 1967,sung by Eric Burdon and the Animals--a big hit at the time. Some may remember this, others should go on Youtube for an introduction.
San Franciscan Nights(2019)
(instrumental with spoken opening)
The following program is dedicated to the city and people of San Francisco, who may not remember it but they used to be beautiful and so was their city. This is a very personal song and if you cannot understand what has happened, save your bread--by not coming here and fly translove airlines to another place--it will be worth it,if not for the sake of this song, but for the sake of your own peace of mind.
(Song starts)
"Homeless walk
Down the street
Urine flows
At their feet
It's a normal San Franciscan night
Old homeless,young homeless
In the blight
Of a normal San Franciscan night.
Needles lying
On the ground
Stoned out druggies
Not a sound
On a normal San Franciscan night
Old druggies,young druggies
dark and light
On a normal San Franciscan night.
I used to live there
I had to leave there
I knew I...had to go
San Francisco
(instrumental noodling)
Worn out cops
on the beat
Another OD
It all repeats
When will they ever learn?
New cop,old cop
sees the sights
of a normal San Franciscan night
The Democrats rule
They act like fools
It's a liberal dream
but a nightmare to you
San Francisco
(instrumental close)
