Every damn European country seems to have lost its mind - it amazes me how many times this shit seems to happen, and they are incapable of learning a damn thing.
They post a photo of their police 'in action' (ie, standing around post-assault in head-to-toe body armor) - almost always prominently posting a photo of some approaching middle-age, out of shape and/or miniature policewoman in the center of the shot (as in this Reuter's article).
Some of the rest in the group seem to be laughing.
That image must certainly inspire confidence in the populace - a damn nation of idiots.
There's a reason that people don't walk into NYC precincts with a knife and just start stabbing policemen: you'd have a mass of bloody tissue on the floor in seconds.
