President Trump on Monday blasted Rev. Al Sharpton as a "con man," claiming he "hates whites & cops," after the MSNBC host said he would travel to Baltimore amid the controversy over the president's comments about the city and its Democratic lawmakers.
After Al Sharpton tweeted Sunday night that he was headed to Baltimore, on his way there to speak out against President Trump's recent remarks about the city, Trump responded with a loaded tweet of his own, recalling some of the history between the two men. www.foxnews.com |
PGCE-P: Al Sharpton is a "reverend"?

In the colored community any person who is respected can claim the title of "reverend". Al is a lay preacher and not a minister or other ordained religious person in the classical and generally understood sense. As my departed uncle Lyle the old time Chicago cop would have said: "they are all reverends, ministers, deacons, professors, etc."
Someone else made a comment on ZH that the Baltimore Orioles, because they've been losing so UGLY this year--should drop the Oriole as they're nickname and change it to the Elijahs--with a picture of Cumming's mug replacing the Oriole,to keep with the "losing ugly" theme.
Maybe Trump will suggest that...lol.
