President Trump on Monday blasted Rev. Al Sharpton as a "con man," claiming he "hates whites & cops," after the MSNBC host said he would travel to Baltimore amid the controversy over the president's comments about the city and its Democratic lawmakers.
| After Al Sharpton tweeted Sunday night that he was headed to Baltimore, on his way there to speak out against President Trump's recent remarks about the city, Trump responded with a loaded tweet of his own, recalling some of the history between the two men. www.foxnews.com |
PGCE-P: Al Sharpton is a "reverend"?
In the colored community any person who is respected can claim the title of "reverend". Al is a lay preacher and not a minister or other ordained religious person in the classical and generally understood sense. As my departed uncle Lyle the old time Chicago cop would have said: "they are all reverends, ministers, deacons, professors, etc."
ReplyDeleteSomeone else made a comment on ZH that the Baltimore Orioles, because they've been losing so UGLY this year--should drop the Oriole as they're nickname and change it to the Elijahs--with a picture of Cumming's mug replacing the Oriole,to keep with the "losing ugly" theme.
ReplyDeleteMaybe Trump will suggest that...lol.
