2 men found fatally shot in Dallas identified

DALLAS (AP) — Officials say two men found fatally shot in a vehicle in a Dallas apartment complex parking lot have been identified as a 17-year-old and an 18-year-old.
Dallas police say the victims have been identified as 17-year-old Damontre Deshun Sweeney and 18-year-old Jabri Jones.
Police say they continue to investigate the case.
Police had responded to reports of gunfire when they located the victims early Saturday.
N.S.: At least the Dallas PD promptly responded, apparently, to the 911 call. In Chicago, it’s been official policy for several years not to respond to 911 calls of crimes in progress.
