I've wanted to ask you this for a long time. Is the Met-Yankee rivalry a kind of Manhattan versus Queens thing?

It's not as logical as thought. I think it was Mike Lupica on a good day who once said that Yankee fans are the kind of people who would have rooted for the lions against the Christians in the Roman Colosseum. In my own Queens neighborhood, there are probably more Yankee than Mets fans. Front runners.
