When Jim Webb announced he was running for the Senate as a Democrat, he indicated he could represent the working class better there than as a Republican. Webb had been very critical of Bush 43 and the neocons for invading Iraq.
Incidentally, when Hillary and Bernie Sanders were asked "Do black lives matter or do all live matter," with no hesitation they bellowed "Black lives matter!" As did the other nincompoops on the stage with one exception.
Jim Webb did say "All lives matter." For which he was blasted by the usual suspects.
