Rick Perry is a member of the Council on Foreign Relations. He also squandered millions on a "virtual" (cameras) border fence. The cameras were aimed at the least traversed portions of the border.
And Dewhurst is a millionaire former C.I.A. operative.
It's all BS.
More smoke and mirrors from the oligarchs and plutocrats who run this country.
N.S.: Note the open borders garbage spewed by CBS11 Dallas-Fort Worth news reader Doug Dunbar at the accompanying video.
“… Many are calling it a humanitarian crisis. Waves of children crossing the border into Texas, all of them looking for a better life.”
And what CBS 11 “reporter” Jack Fink calls “experts” are reconquista attorneys like Bill Holston of the “Human Rights Initiative,” in Dallas, who claims to have already gamed the system on behalf of 45 illegal alien invader kids this year, via a “special immigrant status juvenile visa.”
Fink credulously quotes rehearsed invader kid talking points about their having fled “gang violence.” What happened to that lefty journalist talking point, whereby the profession is one of “organized skepticism”?
[Until now, William O. Holston Jr. was able to make a great deal of mischief, while having virtually no Google footprint. That just changed.]
It was pathetic, when OBLers said that about adults, but now they’re saying it about kids?! Have they no shame? (That was a rhetorical question.)
In the last couple of seconds of Fink’s story, he mentioned critics’ concern that some of the kids may be gang-bangers, which is a bone, yet so many alleged reporters don’t even seek to feign balance today, on stories of importance to the ruling elites.
Texas leaders OK millions for new border surge

San Antonio Express-News
AUSTIN — Texas’ top three lawmakers agreed Wednesday to spend tens of millions dollars to fund a surge operation along the border to deal with the influx of Central American children pouring into Texas.
Gov. Rick Perry, Lt. Gov David Dewhurst and House Speaker Joe Straus authorized a deal for emergency funding of $1.3 million per week for DPS surge operations that will run through at the least the end of the year.
Some 60,000 unaccompanied children and teens are expected to cross into the Texas border this year — up from about 6,560 in 2011. The stream of unaccompanied children has already caused a crisis, overwhelming Border Patrol facilities and sparking debate in Washington over what’s causing the calamity and how to handle it.
“Texas can’t afford to wait for Washington to act on this crisis and we will not sit idly by while the safety and security of our citizens are threatened,” Perry said in a statement. “Until the federal government recognizes the danger it’s putting our citizens in by its inaction to secure the border, Texas law enforcement must do everything they can to keep our citizens and communities safe.”
