Prince George’s County Crime Reporting Mystery: Reader Can’t Make a Meal Out of WJLA Scraps

By Nicholas Stix

Prince George’s County is wealthy, and yet it has out-of-control violent crime. Oh, yeah, I just remembered the cause for such pathology: It’s black.

Note too that the sort of racial fairy tales that black supremacists and white leftists have for generations perpetuated against white cops are actually true of black cops: A disturbingly high proportion of them are lawless.

I’m now at the point where I need to compile a PGC file.

However, in its present form, this article is worthless. It tells of the initial police claims, and that they were false, but does nothing to fill in the gaps about what brought Cpl. Donald Taylor and Ryan Keith Dorm together. Was or Wasn’t Dorm or his companion wearing a mask?

I can usually make sense of these articles through educated guesses, but I’m flying bind here.

Thanks to reader-researcher RC, who writes:

The “Golden Ghetto” according to the Washington Post.

The schools suck, but this county is “affluent” thanks to all the blacks with affirmative action jobs.

Brentwood police-involved shooting: Charges against Ryan Keith Dorm dropped, Corporal Donald Taylor suspended
February 4, 2012, 6:12 p.m.

A Prince George's County Police officer has been suspended after surveillance video contradicted his version of events, stemming from a police-involved shooting in Brentwood on Feb 3, sources tell ABC7 News.

According to multiple sources, Cpl. Donald Taylor has been suspended after video evidence showed Taylor striking an unresisting suspect, identified as 19-year-old Ryan Keith Dorm, with his gun. The gun then discharged accidentally.

Multiple charges of assault and resisting arrest against Dorm will now be dropped, sources say.

According to initial reports, Prince George's County detectives were in the area of Rhode Island Avenue and 38th Street when one of them saw two men - one wearing a mask - enter the Lowest Price Gas convenience store in the 3800 block of Rhode Island Avenue. Believing that the two were about to rob the store, detectives confronted them.

The report said that one of the men, identified as Ryan Dorm, swung at an officer and began to flee. The officer caught the man after a brief foot pursuit. The man then tried to reach for the officer's gun. Fearing that the man was trying to take his gun, the officer fired his gun at the man.

No one was injured in the incident.

Taylor is a 13-year veteran of the force.
