“(SF gate.com) jan. 10, 10:15 a.m. an earthquake with a preliminary magnitude of 2.5 hit near the San Francisco zoo at 9:39 a.m., shortly after a larger one that struck earlier friday morning, according to the U.S. geological survey.
“the aftershock, which had a depth of about 4.7 miles, was 3 miles northwest of the zoo, the same location as the magnitude 3.7 quake that occurred just after 7 a.m.
“San Francisco mayor Daniel Lurie released a statement on x, assuring San Francisco residents that the city is ‘safe in the event of a natural disaster.

GRA: Judging from l.a., San Fran is prepared for nothing—not even poop clean-up.

Quake probably scared the poop out of the street bums--right onto the sidewalk.
Yes,bums are very sensitive to the ground moving--same as cats--who poop during earthquakes too.

EARTHQUAKE HITS MEXICO(6.2)
(cbs noise)magnitude 6.2 earthquake rattled a region of southwest Mexico on Sunday, the U.S. Geological Survey said. There were no immediate reports of casualties or damage.
The tremor was about five miles from Coalcoman de Vazquez Pallares, a municipality of around 20,000 people about 372 miles west of the capital Mexico City. The quake struck at a depth of 53 miles.

Japan’s Meteorological Agency has issued a tsunami advisory after a 6.9 magnitude earthquake occurred off the coast of southwest Japan.
The quake struck shortly after 9:19 p.m. local time (7:19 a.m. ET), the agency said, triggering an advisory for Miyazaki province, in the island of Kyushu, as well as Japan’s southern Kochi prefecture.
Authorities have urged locals not to enter the sea or approach the coast until the advisory is lifted, the country’s meteorological agency said on X.
