Family mourns aspiring S.A. rapper gunned down at NE side apartment complex

Kavoucia Davis, a 21-year-old aspiring rapper from San Antonio, gave himself six months to make it in the music industry. Music was his passion, and he had been writing songs since he was 14, but the pressures of life were beginning to weigh on him.

[N.S.: There's some coded meaning in the last clause, but I haven't got the key.]

They are all aspiring rappers. Well, the negro is well known for their musical ability.

"Pressures of life" means since he can't make money at "rapping" then his only alternative is gangsta life. They love doing that with black men, you can see it in those gang life movies, young black men are always victims, they are compelled by forces outside of their control to participate in the thug life and personal choice has nothing to do with it.

I think it means "he was dealing drugs and strong-arming local convenience stores before he reached for the officer's gun". LOL, something like that.

He owed money to some "dudes". Refusal to pay the "dudes" resulting in a bad outcome.
