First report I saw stated perp was White, then I spotted another article that also stated he was White but added the reason for the race ID was to prevent the false identification that has happened before. Huh? OK, what they are saying, without saying it directly, is that people jump up and assume the perp in these crimes is non-White, usually a muzzy, and that the assumption is wrong. Except, it's not wrong. They make the assumption because that is what it turns out to be most of the time.
[N.S.: It's like how over here, communists/racial socialists lie and cover up the race of black criminals, asserting that they don't want to support "false stereotypes," when in fact the stereotypes are true.]

This a.m., limey cops are saying, "the driver panicked after being attacked by mobs (after his first drive thru/run over. So he did it again.) This counters witnesses who stated, "this was intentional."
After a certain point, the truth doesn't matter anymore, because you're not going to get it. This is the new strategy of law enforcement and media in stories they don't want to explain--lie as if your job depends on it (which it does). No names yet.

GRA: As I said in my little post, it's about controlling the reaction to a possible moslem attack. Gergana says, "conspiracy claims on x continue to say the driver WAS a muslim."
And if he was, he wouldn't be now--would he--Gergana?
Also, I read this morning, the driver can't be named until he's charged with something, due to a british supreme court ruling in 2021, involving singer Cliff Richard. So once the cops figure out how to wrap this up without causing "problems" (riots), we'll get the man's name they want us to have.

Police have been given extra time to question a man arrested on suspicion of attempted murder after a car ploughed into football fans during Liverpool's Premier League victory parade.
Seven people remain in hospital from a total of 79 casualties struck by the Ford Galaxy on Water Street in the city centre shortly after 18:00 BST on Monday.
Merseyside Police said it had been given more time to question a 53-year-old man from West Derby, who was also detained on suspicion of dangerous driving and driving while unfit through drugs.
The force said the car had followed an ambulance through a road block, which had been lifted to allow medics to reach someone having a suspected heart attack.
Police said they had now spoken to 14 more people who had been injured after reporting 65 were hurt at a news conference on Tuesday.
Officers confirmed they had been granted further time to continue questioning the suspect until Thursday.
