I can’t believe anyone GOES to one “these parties” anymore—with the track record of mayhem we typically see. You almost have to make a will out before heading over to Miguel’s or Jacquarious’s.
A shot and a beer means something completely different now than it did back in the 70s and 80s (that 70s shot didn’t involve a tourniquet and a coroner). I wasn’t old enough to drink during the 70s, but I watched the relatives at various Polish halls imbibe.
No crime tape, drawings of bodies on a sidewalk—nothing!

This one is good for laughs: The Children's Museum of Indianapolis offered a pre-packaged watermelon salad as part of it's Juneteenth menu. The museum circulated a photo of the salad as it invited the public to it's Juneteenth celebration.

Needless to say, the snowflakes went crazy with outrage and museum officials groveled and begged for forgiveness.
The headline accuses "Corporate America" for being tone deaf, though it's not explained what this incident has to do with Corporate America in general since it only involved the museum.
One has to wonder...was this just clueless Wokesters who really had no idea of what they were doing? A behind the scenes subversive trying to poke some fun at yet more black crap being shoved in our faces? Some far left noob staging yet another hate crime hoax?
In any case, I don't think it was exactly "tone deaf", more like in perfect pitch.
Something wrong with watermelon salad? Send me some if they don't want any.
