Nearly all of the men who engaged in the mass sexual brutalization of young, often underage white girls as part of the 'grooming gangs' were Pakistani.

I'm a little apprehensive about the use of the word "grooming" in these kind of situations. I get that it's appropriate when it's a child be groomed by an adult but can an adult be "groomed" the same way? I'm sure some will say that it is when there's a power differential but when you're dealing with an adult it's still somebody who is at a maturity level that should be able to understand the game of seduction and relationship formation. It's quite common for people in the workplace environment to form relationships, in fact, more people meet that way than any other way and much of the time somebody is going to be in a higher position than the other, maybe even a supervisory role. Using the word grooming is another way the #MeToo zealots can label a relationship as being abusive in some way (whether it is or isnt') and they have enough trigger words like that already, they don't need anymore.

I put 'grooming gangs' in single quotes because that's the common term, and everyone at all familiar with what went on knows the term and what it means -- I personally don't have a problem with it; I won't nitpick about something like that.
I suppose the word 'grooming' means the sexual abuse did not start immediately -- the girls, many from the underclass and broken/dysfunctional families, were probably first made comfortable around one or more men in normal, everyday situations -- then the sex started -- in some cases at first it may have been consensual or semi-consensual, with just one man -- but then via coercion, e.g. physical abuse and/or threats, including against their families, the girls were passed around, forced to have sex with other men, and take part in what amounted to gang rapes -- and in many cases all of the sex was statutory rape because the girls were underage.
The men (Paki scum actually) knew what they were doing to immature, psychologically/emotionally vulnerable young (in some cases underage) white girls was wrong.
Part of the scandal was also the way government and police knew about but ignored the abuse for racial reasons.

In just over a third of cases, children affected by sexual exploitation were previously known to services because of child protection and neglect. It is hard to describe the appalling nature of the abuse that child victims suffered. They were raped by multiple perpetrators, trafficked to other towns and cities in the north of England, abducted, beaten, and intimidated. There were examples of children who had been doused in petrol and threatened with being set alight, threatened with guns, made to witness brutally violent rapes and threatened they would be next if they told anyone. Girls as young as 11 were raped by large numbers of male perpetrators.
I'm not sure I see the point of most of your comment; to me, it doesn't seem especially relevant as a reply to mine (?) -- I understand the sexual dynamic between adults (i.e. people above the age of consent) can be complicated and/or problematic, especially when there exists what you call a 'power differential'; also that some women have regret after sex (for whatever reason), and #MeToo was abused -- I saved a meme about that --> link
